placed an order for delivery 1-2 days pick and next day delivery still waiting for order sent me a tracking number but didn't send items so dpd informed me they would not be delivering even after speaking to ancient wisdom and confirming items were all ready for delivery. very disappointed.

I had a great first impression of AW when I first found it, I was even allowed to change items on the first orther bonus which was very kind... But when the products arrived, I realized that one of the items was not at the level of my expectations, at all. It is not esthetically pretty and it doesn't have any quality, at all. I'm trying to sort it out to send it back, but because I live in Portugal, it costs me a lot of money. I've paid a lot to send it to Portugal and now it seems that I need to pay to send it back when it is not my fault the product (6 kilos of unvented incense sticks) is not good. I've messaged a few days ago explaining the situation and no answer at all. I wonder why I don't get an answer...

Very first order placed Monday a.m, expected it to arrive as per the website promise 1-2 days....still no order Thurs night.. had booked a pitch at a Fayre up country Fri / Sat / Sun...So am leaving early Friday morning to start a new venture with No stock.....Dissapointed is not a word I would use.......

It took 8 days for you to dispatch my item. I did receive a refund for the postage which was good, however when the items came they were smaller than stated on your site dispose me asking, and being told the sizes were correct. Too much hasstle to return.

Feeling rather concerned placed an order on Monday seeing all the positive 2 day deliveries am concerned that my order shows still waiting to be picked on Thursday especially as some of the products I've ordered now show out of stock as it's my first order concerned that I won't have all the products in time for the grand opening of my shop

Hi Matthew, We do apologise for the delay. We had delivery of salt lamps and a number of orders for those were just crazy. We do usually have 2-3 days delivery times but sometimes especially when staff is not available we struggle a little. But we are trying hard to fix this issue. I'm a small business and thought I'd found a great Wholesalers to purchase my stock from. I was really pleased with my 1st Order, but I am unable to order any more White Dragonfly Burners as they have disappeared although there is a picture of them. Not very happy as I now have to find something to replace them.....

This site always seems to be out of stock of anything worth buying. How do they expect retailers to order from them and use them as a supplier when they always run out of stock and it stays that way for months. If the stock situation was addressed I would use this company, however until I notice a change, I will not.

The incense sticks were not that similar to how they looked in the pictures, as I thought they would be better made they looked abit cheap! The sticks did not smell to good either and the all smelt very similar! Finally, a lot of the scents we were interested in were out of stock for a very long time and the date of restock even changed over 2 weeks and after all the added costs once you got to check out they weren't even that cheap!! However delivery was good and quick

Unfortunately despite being all separately wrapped three out of 24 shell boxes were smashed. They are lovely though. The treasure chests in gold were mostly marked with dirty marks somewhere on each box as if they had been handled with oily fingers! The marks did not rub off. Some of the boxes did not fasten well as the top and bottom latches were not positioned correctly. I really like the products but the quality is not great unfortunately.

I placed my first order on 28th January this is the 10th February and I still have not received it. I tried phoning you and emailing you but got no response! I called a retailer in the local town and he advised me to use the CHAT service which worked well and hopefully my order will be here later. Lucy told me on Monday that my order had not left Anchient Wisdom which I thought was very fair and truthful of her and half the shipping would be taken off the order. For a first order this is frightening to say the least and in the meantime I have sourced other suppliers.

Dear Margo, Thank you for your message and I apologize for the difficulties on receiving the order. We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 business days. The transit time to Ireland is usually no longer than 3 business days. The dispatch time on your order was longer due to an error on our part and as you mentioned, Lucy had sorted it out for you. According to the DPD's tracking system, the order is out for delivery today for you. Consignment number: 5995426663 I am very sorry about the experience you have had so far. We have checked our inboxes and cannot locate any emails from you. Also our phone system has not logged any messages from you with regards to this. Although the majority of the products ordered were in stock there were some problems with a couple of them. I emailed Urszula and have not yet received a response which is highly disappointing.

We had a lot of fees added to our credit card statements and the DHL shipment is charging us $35 extra dollars on top of what we paid you for shipping.

The packaging and general presentation meant that I was not able to sell the goods and had to return them.I was told that they were supposed to look like this,cardboard torn,soap squashed and covered with burnt plastic. Conclusion,don't buy again.

Where do I begin? Firstly 6 orders turned up with items missing or damaged. The customer service team did their best to resolve things in a satisfactory and prompt manner. I was also given assurance that things would be better. I received an email telling me an item I was interested in was now in stock. Days later I place an order for these said items pleased that I had been informed that the items were back in stock. I informed a regular customer that these items were coming and they in advanced indicated they would purchase several. I then receive an voicemail message at 4.55pm (giving me 5 minutes) telling me that my order would be dispatched tomorrow, but the said items were not in stock and would I like to select alternatives. Within 5 minutes? Who do I believe? The email? The website showing them in stock? The human who thinks its acceptable at 4.55pm to say a round about sense "ooops sorry not in stock and you have 5 mins to choose an alternative". The items from this wholesaler are fantastic a) if they are not accidentally missed, b) if they arrive undamaged, c) If they are in stock and don't rely on emails/website for accuracy. Such a shame as their customer service team are obviously dealing with me complaining on a regular basis. So on a positive note......They do deal with complaints fairly quick and in a reasonable time (although not heard back since last night regarding their latest fiasco) and the products are unique and "nice". The bad news is they are becoming increasingly difficult based on reliability to deal with. Disappointed customer (me) and i have a disappointed customer too as a result. A real shame but 7 out of 7 orders to-date have had issues.

Dear Tom, Thank you for your message and I do understand your frustration. At this time of the year it takes us 2-3 days for dispatch on average due to the increased amount of orders. Kerry has contacted you as soon as we knew about the missing items with the best option available at the time, which was to send the order as it was and do a 'follow on' after. We are opened until 17.30 Monday - Friday, so I understand that 30 minutes is not a lot of time at all, but this was the most we could do at the time, being that we advised we would ship the order on Wednesday for you. Please note that the problems were not from ill will or delaying your order purposefully, it was just very unfortunate that it came back to us late yesterday - again I apologize. I have received the items from the warehouse just now so I will send them on now for delivery tomorrow for you - they needed some more time to unblock the isles to get to the stock. I apologize for the errors and damages on your previous orders. I have spoken with the warehouse manager and I was promised that special attention will be paid to your orders in the future. Pink poodle bags were NOT satisfactory as the eyes and nose were not attached safely also the shoulder straps all came unstitched very poorly made and cannot be retailed until repaired a as will not pass safety standards

I feel that as the company and range of goods grows the quality is taking a hit, trying to keep costs down. My last parcel contained goods that were ok, but the packaging was 'cheap and nasty' and meant that I couldn't sell the goods. For the sake of a little extra care and attention, a little better quality goods, you may not have as many returns as you probably get now.

I ordered two different types of favour boxes. One set (I ordered two packs) was sold to a customer for her impending wedding. They were returned to me along with damaging negative reviews from the customer because no matter how gently she and her party attempted to assemble them the front flap ripped. I tried myself and had the same result. I have been extremely unhappy with the damaging effects of the negative review I received and the lost of income as I had to pay return shipping and refund. In addition to this I also ordered some "jiffy" bags and was telephoned to say these were not in stock. I asked if I could order smaller but every single size below that was out of stock (and there were a number of sizes). I asked when they would be in stock again and she couldn't tell me. I ordered elsewhere. Very very unhappy.
