“Pleased with the removal of my belongings from my house to your store on Saturday 29 July 2023.Will be able to comment more accurately when they are returned to my new address later in the year.John and Alan worked hard and were pleasant to deal with during the day.Would have them back at another time.”

“Excellent service from the guys in the van, courteous and professional at all times. Disappointed in the way that office staff handled the payment side and invoicing. It’s a stressful time moving house and I was involved in a chain and if you receive your keys late and the guys have to wait you have to pay extra which I knew about and was prepared for, but to be phoned and chased up while travelling goes beyond the pale. Other than that happy with the service.”

“Overall, very happy with AMC Removals. The men who carried out the move were fantastic and just got on with the job - no fuss, no damage, on time, very professional and friendly. Great value for money overall. My only issue is that if everything hadn't gone according to plan with regards the timings, we would have been stung for the delay charges so worth making sure everything is in place for collection of keys etc.”

“Great service from the initial survey and office support and packing and removal teams. My only issues were a broken lampshade and that the unloading team didn’t always read what was on the boxes and so put things in the wrong rooms. For example my duvet ended up on the garage and a heavy box of tools was left in the living room!”

“Service started well, ended chaotic. Loading of our belongings seemed calculated, we didnt get access to our new home until 4.15pm, from there the unloading was as quick as the guys could get away. By the end it felt things were getting dumped literally anywhere. Garden furniture for example strewn all over. No mattress covers/protectors were used as described. I think volume was underestimated, leading to over stacking which has lead to some items having some marks scratches no previously present. My expectations however are this is all pretty standard for a house move, I would still recommend AMC despite the above feedback.”

“Both teams who removed our furniture and possessions into storage could not be faulted. They were professional, efficient, friendly and good natured. Similarly Catherine in the office was very helpful and informative and always got back quickly to answer any queries. However others in the office were not so efficient and did not always return calls. If this had not been the case it would be a 5 star review.”

“Very good manager/owner. Was a little disappointed in the service from team members on the day, especially when going through such a stressful procedure. Also, we had a number of costly damages, with sofa cushions being ripped off instead of unzipped and cupboard doors being unexpectedly and hastily removed, but I guess this is to be expected in a big house move. Wish I had have known to remove these things myself in advance.”

“The removal men turned up very promptly and called to let me know they were coming. Throughout the day they were helpful, polite, patient and went beyond themselves to help us. Those guys I couldn't fault. The one disappointment was being told by the office at 4.50pm (for the first time that day) that if we didn't have our keys by 5pm then the lorry would be returning to the yard and our stuff would go into storage. I had informed the office at 8.45am that day that we wouldn't be getting keys until after 3pm and re-iterated that later in the day to them as well. I felt that this message could have made to me clearly first thing in the morning as it created blind panic when it was delivered. Despite that, the move could not have happened without AMC. Many thanks.”

Many thanks for reviewing the service received. We too were very worried about whether the keys would actually turn up. Keys arrived around 5.15 pm, so relief all round. “Very professional and friendly staff from start to finish. I would have scored 5 out of 5 but I had to pay extra on the moving day due to the length of time the staff had to move my stuff. I would definitely recommend AMC removals to other people.”

“I was very impressed with the crew that executed the removal. They were very professional and exhibited a great work ethic. The overall process was satisfactory with only one glitch that led to a petty surcharge, but it was enough to make me think twice about using AMC again.”
