Gave useful advice which helped in choosing appropriate running shoes Would have been helpful to have a written feedback of the biometric gait analysis as I can’t remember all that he said.”

“Great service/advice provided through a gait analysis and then running shoe selection. Shame they didn’t have the size required and therefore I couldn’t benefit from the £20 off given because we had already paid for the gait analysis.”

Nothing was rushed, so I felt as if I was seen as a unique runner by someone who was genuinely interested in my needs. I was impressed by the stock range in store which meant I could have a great choice.”

“I was told to book and pay for an assessment for a Saturday appointment incase it was too busy to fit me in, however when I was in the store many walks ins received the same foot assessment without a £20 charge? I received the email of my foot scan, but it doesn’t allow me to see any of the information about my feet which was what I wanted to know. I found a Shuropody store today who assessed my feet for free with more knowledge and I came away feeling more confident in going ahead to buy insoles and shoes. Can I get a £20 refund as I’m not sure what I paid for, when others didn’t?”

“Helpful, knowledgeable staff guided me through a wide shoe selection until I found the right one. The only reason for not giving them 5 stars is that most of the shoes in the shop are full price - they are some discounts via their website.”

“The shoes I purchased seem good but I would have liked the sales assistant to be able to explain more about the different types, soles, materials etc. I didn't feel confident that they were exactly the correct shoe for my needs. Apparently I should have asked for dawn!”

“I was very impressed with the young lady that served me. I was early for my appointment but that was not a problem as the shop was not busy. I did not feel pressured to buy the trainers that were offered so the young lady is ordering me some more from a different make as I need a wide fit. I look forward to returning to Alexandra Sports and now I know there is parking available which makes life easier”

“Very helpful personable company; I had a query about Returns so I called the number, spoke to a real person(!) without any delay and was given a swift reply. My husband has great difficulty finding shoes that fit comfortably and is very pleased with these Walking Shoes. Sturdy and strong leather. Shame they are only available in Black, he would have liked Brown.”
