“We paid for an item to be delivered the next day by the Royal Mail guaranteed delivery but this arrangement broke down as the Royal Mail missed its target and the item took 48 hours , mid week, to reach us. We drew Alexandra Sports attention to this in the hope that they would seek compensation from the Royal Mail as they are entitled. As for customers they should be wary of paying for guaranteed delivery or signed for delivery items by the Royal Mail. In our case the Royal Mail has missed its targets no less than three times with items sent over the last month, including one case where an item was lost altogether, and another when an item sent to an address in London was sent to Aberdeen before finding its way four days late to the correct address. The moral is that Royal Mail can be relied on to let you down”

“I ordered some new running shoes because my old ones disintegrated after a few days of COVID lockdown! I wondered who I could trust to sell me running shoes on line and get them to me. There is only one Alexandra Sports and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I found the website easy. For once I was able to get the colour of shoe I wanted as no one to tell me they didn’t fit! The shoes that arrived within about 3 days were perfect. And now I am running again ( but only once a day)”
