“Disgusting conduct Insured my motorcycle less than 24 hours ago. Requested additional information. Stored in a locked building. Only had the option to choose a garage or locked compound. Then informed I would have to pay a 35 pound administration fee plus premium increase. Despite not having the option to choose. Now charged a 20 pound administration fee and time on cover total 49.45 cancellation fee just 24 hours later despite been in a 14 day period. Not able to speak to management or customer services. Totally held over a barrel to pay extra. Discusting.”

“Just spent almost an hour trying to cancel the insurance for a vehicle I no longer own. It turns out, as I paid for my insurance by instalments I needed to pay for the full year (minus the 1 month since the renewal) plus a £35 cancellation fee. So needed to find almost £180 up front to cancel a policy I don't need and won't be claiming on! Then to add insult to injury I was offered the chance to pay this fee in installments at an extra cost of just £40 on top of the cancellation cost, meaning to pay over 4 months it cost me £216 to cancel a policy I neither wanted nor need. I would call it highway robbery but they don't even have the decency to wear cape and mask!”

“Really poor from start to finish. Inconsistent and bizarre about documentation required. And sharkish about policy change. Cancelled and paid a scandalous price for the pleasure. Avoid AF.”

“I had 11 years' satisfactory service from AF followed by disaster in that, despite written authorisation to renew my policy the company failed to do so stating that it was unable to contact me by phone (to answer a minor clarification). It did not try to contact me by email or letter so I was uncertain as to where or not I was covered. It took around three months to sort things out (with a higher premium). Incredibly the company only accepts payment by phone ! One would think a written authorisation was much more secure and definite ! Avoid this company if possible.”

“Just cancelled my campervan policy with Adrian Flux with 5 months to run. I was expecting a cancellation fee, however I was gob smacked to be told that due to their terms and conditions, they owe me nothing !!!!! I wish I had not paid for the year in full. Buyer beware, I will never use this broker ever again.”

“Totally disappointed with Adrian flux renewed my classic insurance for my classic car in August at a cost of £100 i sold the car yesterday and cancelled the insurance today they gave me back £10 and a few pence doesn't seem fair won't take insurance with them again so beware I paid the insurance in full”

“Adrian Flux cancelled my policy unfairly during the 14-day cooling-off period, kept over £300, and falsely claimed my car was for business use. Their complaint handling was terrible, and the Financial Ombudsman repeatedly closed my case, leaving me chasing them for years. This caused ongoing financial harm—I cannot recommend this company.”

“Lesson learnt the hard way. Kept getting recommendation for this company from vanlife groups so I thought it was good I got it for my car since it was about £50 cheaper than the cheapest insurer on comparision sites. My god its a rip off, they refused to take my 4 years NCB so I asked how much it would be to take it off the policy, £700 on top of the £700 I already paid, I paid for half of this amount when I just pass my test. Im canceling the policy now and after 2 months I lost half of the £700 I paid after all the fees and commisions. Absolutely disgusting model of business, stay far away.”

“Sent my son a new quote that didn't require the black box, then as he's just changed job title they used that as an excuse not to insure him plus the black box had to stay on with that quote they sent, poor business skills. Stay away.”

“Never use this company totally disgusting business model !!! No respect for their customers please please be warned do not use or like me you will very much regret. Contacted me the day after I took out van insurance with them asking me if my model of van had a start stop button!!! then a question which I answered incorrectly apparently in connection with when the van was purchased! I didn’t know if they meant when I purchased or when the van was purchased new. Not that i see the relevance, I was told by the girl a discount can be given because I would be more familiar with driving it if i owned it from new Dear goodness who thinks these questions up , All excuses to increase your cover cost when I refused to pay a kings ransom for this nonsensical question I was left with no cover and had to arrange transport home. Totally disgusting company stay clear.”
