“I was, unusually, in the Chichester area so called into the shop. John was very helpful. allowing me to try a number of clarinet mouthpieces, although none of the stocked items satisfied my requirements. I will continue the search. I have recently found Ackerman Music, via the internet and they have always been helpful and accommodating, even supplying me with baritone reeds which were not held in stock. Their pricing policy is competitive and are now my first port of call for musical needs. Keep up the good work.”

“Having visited the shop in Chichester I have found the staff attitude to be less than helpful almost as if they can’t be bothered with a sale . Reading all of the positive reviews I presume the focus now is more on internet sales than face to face sales. Very disappointing.”

Hello there, So sorry to hear you have had a bad experience in one of our stores. We take pride in having knowledgeable, helpful and of course musical staff to help as best we can. In an age where an awful lot of transactions are done online we are trying our best to keep the shops open and well stocked. It's harder than ever for a family run music shop to battle against the bigger companies. Apologies again.
