“Called into the Sewing Studio while on holiday to buy a new sewing machine for my daughter whose machine a packed up and was urgently needed. Got great advice from the very knowable staff and a demonstration of the machine.”

“I had fantastic help choosing my new overlocker, and was able to try it out in the shop first. It’s definitely an advantage dealing with a shop selling several brands, as you get unbiased advice across a wide range.”

“I ordered my sewing machine from The Sewing Studio after much research. Firstly, I was impressed by their website and their YouTube videos. I placed my order just before 4pm on a Friday and my machine arrived the following morning - that's what you call fast service! I can't wait to use my machine and get tips and advice from the team at The Sewing Studio.”

“Anna the demonstrator was very good at showing how various machines worked to enable me to choose which I preferred. When I found the machine advertised elsewhere on Amazon for a much reduced price, she spoke to the shop owner who agreed to give me a credit to compensate somewhat for the price difference, even though The Sewing Studio don't match prices with Amazon. Most other retailers were offering the same price as The Sewing Studio or more. Can't fault the demonstration or the aftersales service so far. Thank you Sewing Studio.and Anna”

“Always had such friendly help here and it is always a planned stop on my Cornish holidays. So helpful this visit in choosing my second sewing machine - Sue listened to my requirements and did a quick demo which confirmed my decision and the little Janome came home with me! Thoroughly enjoying using it - Sewing Studio is the best!”

“Quality fabrics, fast service. I ordered a selection of Moda fabrics to fulfil a request by my disabled brother for some face masks. He enjoyed fishing in the past and had always been an avid bird watcher.”

“I was looking for a walking foot for my machine but wasn't sure which one as I was struggling to find my model on line. I spoke with The Sewing Studio and they said they would find the one I needed and ring me back. I am so pleased to be able to say that they did exactly that and I am now a very happy owner of exactly what I needed. the staff I spoke with were pleasant and friendly. Thank you so much”

“A considered purchase but made easily with the help from knowledgeable staff at the end of the phone. Nothing was too much trouble, offering video tutorials and face time help if needed When I am in the market for an upgrade I will be back (but will be a few years yet)”

“I bought the cat library fabric. Not only was The Sewing Studio the cheapest place I found that sells this fabric, they were super fast at packing and posting it. It arrived in beautiful packaging nicely folded but the quality of the fabric was even more amazing than the photos. I am in love! Will definitely be buying more fabric from you and will be recommending them to all my sewing friends.”
