“The rental price was cheap but when I booked the car I selected was supposed to be supplied by an "on site" company at the airport.
This was not the case. We had to wait over an hour while the "Drive On Holidays" shuttle bus waited for other clients (who were late in arriving). This delay created further problems for us with our onward travel arrangements.
I would have preferred to have paid extra and had an on site supplier.”

“Excellent service and the car was new. We selected a small car and was given a Ford Fiesta which was very economical and suited our needs exactly. Beware if you are travelling from America or Canada as the roads in the UK are very narrow and especially within the London area with cars parked each side of the road, requires extreem caution when passing. Parking spaces are also very narrow so we took extra care when parking to reduce the chance of damage to the hire car as it could be costly!”
“under your mandatory documents your "drivers licence" is confusing.It states both UK licence and international licence are required.Policy excess's were also not shown.
I had to e-mail advice on both these points before departure.Quick response was forthcoming but not particularly helpful.”

“121 site very easy to use and gave a great price. Subsequently found out that the car was booked with Goldcar (booking was in Sicily) who have very mixed reviews. Experience was fine however, only issue being the very hard sell on the excess insurance which I declined as I have my own. Also the full tank of fuel was inordinately expensive but as the hire was so cheap I didn't mind.”

“The booking process was straightforward as was pick up and collection. The Thrifty rep met us at the appointed place and we were transferred quickly to their offices off the airport.
The 7 seater we ordered was fine in that it was clean and comfortable external scratches were clearly marked. The only negative comment I'd make is that the vehicle provided was underpowered for transporting 6 adults plus luggage. Having said that, the overall experience was positive and I'd continue to seek further quotations from 121 car hire for our next Cyprus holiday.”
