Another major bargain from mx5parts! Superb quality, 100% polished Stainless Steel, single exit exhaust for the Mk1. Made exclusively by us, for us, this great exhaust has 57mm main pipework and a 90mm dual sleeve exit pipe.Tested and confirmed BHP Gain of 4 - 5! (Also increased torque)Supplied complete with all gaskets and fixing bolts. Fits Mk1 1989>1996 (upto chassis number JMZ...308212) having either the 370 or 440mm cat (please check!). Looks like it should be £300.00 worth. Five year warranty!

“Ordered this on monday morning, showed up tuesday lunchtime. Outstanding service, best for any internet company that i've purchased from. Had it fitted at local exhaust centre, along with the pipercross induction kit, to my 1.8 mk1. Amazing. Sounds like a completely different car. Sounds like an old rally car to be honest, and a marked improvement in throttle response means it goes a bit more like one as well.It has to be said that this exhaust is extremely loud when you flex your toe and considerably larger than the stock pipe. I love it, but I think all sports cars should shout about it, it certainly won't be for everyone.Thanks mx5 parts for livening up my car.”

“It looks lovely, but it's a little louder than I would like. It's also not entirely convincing at certain rev ranges. In first gear, for instance, at the higher rev ranges (5000+) it really farts - that kind of raspy sound which makes it obvious that the volume is exhaust generated, rather than because the engine is particularly powerful. This is calming down as I put some miles through it, but still, 1000 miles later it hasn't lost the rasp completely.All that said, in 3rd + 4th gear it sounds just lovely, and given the fact that it's beautiful and such good value for money, I am pretty happy with it.”

“What a great product (and usual next day delivery service provided by MX5parts as always).I fitted this in addition to a de-cat pipe and now the car sounds as it should and appears to rev better in the higher range. The exhaust mounted perfectly and appears very well made.For the price of this exhaust, you can not go far wrong. I am very impressed with the differing notes from the pipe at various rpm, particularly the rasp when under hard acceleration.The exhaust is quiet enough on idle and only noisey when under load. Some may not like the noise (perhaps on a long motorway journey with the roof down), but to me it's another reminder you are driving a sports car!”

“I got the exhaust quickly in 3-4 days. The gaskets and bolts were included, only the rubber mounts (5x) need to be ordered seperately. Fitting was straightforward, the nuts from the cat came off easy luckily. It took me one saturday morning. The new exhaust sounds a bit deeper the the old one (which was leaking) and looks great.I am happy with it. If I had to do it again I had also ordered the 'silenced cat bypass pipe' and fitted that one in the process.Great product for a good price!”

“Speedy delivery as usual :) as to be expected now from mx5 online heheHad to take to a garage to fit as i just could not remove the old exhaust ! :( hopefully u guys had more luckFitted the induction kit a few months previous to installing this exhaust and result is definatly pleasing :Dnice deep burble at idle then when u give it some to 4+ revs its nice and raspy. In my opinion made the car more responsive.Would reccommend !P.S. If i had to say (and its nt broken in yet) the deep sound is a tiny bit loud in 3rd gear between 1 + half and 2 revs. thats my only negative comment :P”

“5 stars for Price5 stars for quality4 stars for looks4 stars for soundIf you have a standard exhaust, then you need to get one of these. Becarefull though, its borderline chav but is justified because its on a sports car and not a 1 point nothing corsa. The exhaust is a lot louder than i thought it was going to be but its got a nice deep sound and then more raspier the higher up the rev band you go without sounding like a nob head boy racer.The price is good. It definately looks like it should be worth a lot more but if it had of cost more, i would have thought twice about buying it.I certainly noticed how much more responsive the car was under acceleration. This is how a sports car should be! The tail pipe was a lot bigger than i thought but i guess when you get used to standard exhaust anything seems a lot bigger. Excellent delivery from mx5parts, ordered 2pm thursday (portsmouth) , arrived 11am friday (stoke on trent). fitted by 12. Dont waste your money taking it some garage to get it fitted, its dead easy do it your self, 2 bolts and 5 rubber hangers. highly recommended, (you do drive a sports car after all, make it sound like one! )”

“Fitted the exhaust in half an hour came with all bolts and gaskets needed. (all so fitted with de-cat pipe) I am VERY impressed with the quality really does look £300 worth.Makes my mx sound like it should.If you havent got one your missing out”

“Hi,My exhaust system came this morning,very quick delivery, took it to my local tyre fitter's, Their first impressions after getting the system out of the box was very impressive, and they did not believe me when I told them how much I had paid, they fitted it in 15 minutes, what can I say, it sounds lovely a nice low burble and then a lovely rasp, I am impressed.
