Another major bargain from mx5parts! Superb quality, 100% polished Stainless Steel, single exit exhaust for the Mk1. Made exclusively by us, for us, this great exhaust has 57mm main pipework and a 90mm dual sleeve exit pipe.Tested and confirmed BHP Gain of 4 - 5! (Also increased torque)Supplied complete with all gaskets and fixing bolts. Fits Mk1 1989>1996 (upto chassis number JMZ...308212) having either the 370 or 440mm cat (please check!). Looks like it should be £300.00 worth. Five year warranty!

“WOW !!!The fit was perfect. I've bought standard exhausts that didn't fit this well ! The welds are nice (I've seen better, But not on a mass produced system). It looks like a very well made piece of kit.I was worried about the reports of them being loud, But since fitting it I've discovered that it's only a fraction louder than the standard exhaust it replaced at tick over. When you open up the throttle it does get a bit louder but it doesn't feel TOO loud.It now sounds sporty, But without making that "Tinny/Boomy" sound that seems to be so popular with the chavs in their Corsas.As it stands at the moment, I'm very happy with it.”

“Fitted this yesterday along with silenced de-cat pipe and Pipercross Induction Kit. What a difference!!!! Sounds fantastic throttle is very responsive and as stated previously its a shame that it is covered up because the quality of this product is superb. And as always super fast delivery.”

“Jonathan Lawes must be extremely unlucky, because this exhaust isn't that loud. I know it, and the noise testers at Oulton Park confirmed it - it sailed through their noise test, and I also had the de-cat pipe fitted too.It's certainly louder than standard, but it lends the car a healthy, crisp exhaust note, not the hideous bassy blare you get with hot hatchbacks with massive back boxes fitted. It's very slightly boomy on motorway runs, but then again I don't have any soundproofing left in my Eunos, so I'm hardly surprised. It's not in any way unpleasant, and I think it lends the MX-5 the aural edge that it should have - the whisper-quiet OE exhaust it replaced seemed well out of character. Highly recommended, and at £136, it's an utter steal, frankly. Beautiful to look at, superbly well made, and a doddle to fit - I had this and a de-cat pipe fitted by my local independent tyre/exhaust place in about 25 minutes, and they complimented it on its fit.They also said it sounded glorious. ;-D”

“What a great piece of kit for £136! Easy to fit, once you've removed the old system. I also have the silenced de-cat pipe and a Toyo Sports SS manifold, both of which were fitted at the same time as the cat-back pipes. The result is a better sound (nice and raspy at about 4000rpm, rumbly at idle but not too loud for normal driving if you lay off the revs a bit), more low down torque and a more free revving engine through the gears. Excellent!”
