found this during covid lockdown. A great tasting flour that I mix 50/50 with the organic stone ground whole meal for a really tasty and healthy loaf of bread.

I found Cotswold flour during lockdown and have been using it every since. Eight grain makes a lovely bread in my breadmaker, either on it's own or mixed with strong white or cotswold crunch.

I first bought Cotswold bread flour in a well known high st supermarket and thought how lovely the bread came out of my bread making machine. I am a bit of a novice as although I’ve had a bread maker for over 15 yrs, I brought it out of retirement when Covid hit. I’ve since bought another bread maker and my old girl went to the static, but she too was replaced and now have the same Panasonic at home and at the caravan… Well apart from getting confused of how to make bread in the machine, and looking online for stockists, I came across the website. I’ve took on board info from a review off John for using a machine, and hey presto the perfect loaf of bread which is too big to fit into my extra deep toaster! I’d love to show a picture as I was like David Bailey last night when it was cooling on the rack, and again this morning when I cut into the loaf for my morning fix

Love, love this flour. Ive found one of the best ways of baking with it, is to use a mix of the standard white bread flour and the 8 grain. Makes a perfect cob. Never use a tin for bread baking, just make a freehand cob and somehow, for me, this gives the best results

Love 8 grain. Been using it for nearly 2 years since I found Matthews Cotswold Flour Mills when it became impossible to find strong breadflour in shops during Covid. I have beenn using it ever since. I use it on its own or mixed with up to 25% Cotswold Crunch or Strong White depending on the texture of the bread I want. Very pleased with the consistant quality of all 3 flour types. It is nice that I can often get it through retail as well as direct on the website.

I use this flour as it comes for really teasty baps(we call them). My wife prefers Cotswold crunch. Both are great. Really glad we found Matthews. Not the cheapest, but certainly top quality for product and service.
