Made with ground pork, paprika, salt, and other spices, it has been produced by Embutidos Munar for over 70 years. This authentic sobrasada is now available in the UK. Starting with premium quality free-range pork, the sausage is infused with a little sea salt and sun-dried paprika from Tap de Corti in Mallorca. Due to the balmy semi-tropical climate, islanders on Mallorca and Menorca are unable to fully dry-cure their meat. Instead, they preserve it by mixing it with a local type of paprika and age it for a short time. The result is sobrasada, a finely ground soft pork sausage of excellent quality. Its unique soft-spreadable texture makes it ideal for cooking or as a spread. Approximately 2.5 inches thick.

“Yup, this is the taste I was missing. Having spent a lot of time in Mallorca and becoming obsessed with Sobrasada, this is the best I can find off the Island, with a touch of spice, and it's from Felanitx!!! It will be my go-to regular. Highly recommend.”

“Bonísimo !! Lived in Mallorca most of my life and to find this little treat , makes me feel like Im home . The smooth delicious slightly picante meat melts in your mouth . Eat either hot or cold , straight on some toasted salt bread or slightly fried either side . Gracias Basco Fine Foods”
