“I bought this flour last month as I’d always wanted to try 8 grain in my home made bread. It works out great using either 50% 8 grain, or 20% 8 grain with the remainder being made up with strong white bread flour. The flour has a lovely nutty taste to it, and it even looks healthy if that’s possible. The price from Bakery Bits was great, and cheaper than going direct to the manufacturer. “This is a lovely mix of white flour and seeds. I often make a wholemeal and seed loaf but this is great if I'm in a hurry so I don't have to weigh and measure so much. It makes a well risen loaf and I have also had fun adding a little dark rye and some Vistamalt to the mixture. All worked beautifully in my breadmaker.”
