“We arrived to be told our booking could not be honoured due to a H&S issue!!! No prior warning. After a long wait they got us a room at another hotel. Appalling experience. Will never use again.”
“The hotel was closed due to a health and safety issue. We were not informed before arrival. However an alternative hotel was found for us which was very good. We were sent to the holiday inn express at T5.”
“Very very tired hotel, the bath has been patched up, and it needs a refresh. The corridors were very smelly, including of illicit substances, and for a family room, we were disappointed only to have a sofa bed for the second bed, and not a proper bed. The staff were very helpful however.”
“Check in was awkward as the lad behind the desk seemed to be learning, and English wasn't his first language. The room was tired, with a huge crack in the basin, and if you go for a drink at the bar, be prepared to take out a mortgage to buy a couple of drinks, and then sit at a table with dirty glasses from previous customers, which were still there the following morning when we gratefully checked out”
