The service was fantastic, completely online and seamless. The process of buying the car insurance was easy and user friendly. I would recommend them to others.

I got a new job which gave me a company car to use excluding perosonal usage. I phoned up vavista to make the ammendments and I also added my pass plus certificate onto my premium. When checking quotes online I was getting a lot lower prices than what I am currently paying... When discussing this with the agent on the phone and making my ammendments, instead of my policy going down as I am using my car less and have the additional driving course added onto it, the policy went upwards instead. I was told I could cancel the policy and redo a new one however that will have a seperate charge of Β£220 to do so. So now I am stuck paying more money for a car I use a lot less which makes absaloutely no sense to me what so ever. the agent was 0 help and from her tone of voice I could tell she didnt really care or offer me much advice or even help with this matter. I would not recommend this insurance company to anybody, they just want your money and have 0 care when it comes to dealing with their customers. I even told the agent on the phone I was going to leave negative reviews of the company online, and she shrugged it off, so they clearly do not care for the company they work for neither. if I could give them part of the 1 star I gave them I would!!!

Can't access policy documents. Tried to get pdf emailed across. Just sent reset links that don't work.

Pretty simple straightforward process in purchasing the insurance at a good price Also the only car insurance company I know to plant trees around giving something back to the planet Atleast they are doing something not like others well done Vavista!

Don't use this company There scammed me on my deposit. Told them about my iva Give them information on my driving licence Told them couldn't find my no claims bonus so thay cancelled my insurance and charged me 75 pounds admin 75 pounds cancellation and I lost all my deposit. When I was on the phone with them they where proper rood saying your folt it's cancelled I asked to speak to management se kept on saying your folt not a nice company

I had a right miserable cow on the phone who was about as helpful as a bucket with a hole in it, i wanted to add a vehicle she said no you cant do it, i asked could i amend my policy she said no, then i found out that although i pay for full comprehensive i always thought your covered to drive other cars found out no they don't do that insurance, well and truly disappointed with the way she handled the call. So going to look else where for vehicle insurance and leave these there.

Poor customer service. Expensive for loyal customers. Poor Refund strategy. I DID NOT opt in for Auto Renewal (Of my car insurance). However, Vavista charged auto renewal at a higher price without my permission. Even though in the other price comparison websites Vavista's annual quotation was Β£82 cheaper for me as a new customer. I did not want to pay extra for remaining a loyal customer. I wanted to purchase the other (cheapest) policy. But Vavista would not refund my money(that the charged for auto renewal without my permission). I had to call more than 5/6 times (needed more than 2 hours of conversation) to chase up the fund. The initial excuses was ''It generally takes 3 days at least to transfer funds", then second excuse was "they took the wrong account number". After holding my fund hostage for 5+ days Vavista offered (as a gesture of good will !!!)to match the price of the other company... few hours before my policy was due to expire. I could not purchase initially (due to insufficient fund). Later I was left in a desperate situation had to pay a significantly higher price for my yearly car insurance this year. I ended up losing money. Nightmare experience. Never again Vavista. In my opinion this is one of the worst possible practice of holding on to a loyal customer. The regulators should be monitoring the companies so that the customers don't feel like a hostage and forced to stay in the end.
