“Positive: - Superfast next day free delivery on my order. - Safe packaging. - Official Makita dealer. Negative: - One of 4 items - 18V battery arrived functional but damaged body. Two defects probably caused by dropping the item. Also multiple scratches. Could not been damaged during shipping because package had plenty of wraps. - The ToolStore UK site does not tell you when it logs you out. I started browsing the site being logged in. By the time I paid for my order I was loggged out, therefore no history of my order in the account, moreover, no invoice available to extend Makita 3yrs warranty. - Beware of the prices. For some items you may get a very good deal, other items price is way higher than market average.”

“Great product (makita drill) good price dispatched quickly but I did pay £1.99 for swifter postage but delivery company they use (dpd) are clearly are overloading thier staff as driver did not meet delivery deadline and turned up at 5 the next eve and I needed it pronto so minus points for that but overall tool store easy to deal with and will use again x”

Dear Customer, Thank you for taking the time to leave this review, we do read all comments and we try to take any feedback on board where possible. Your order was placed on a Sunday when our business is closed, so it was processed on the next working day (Monday) and DPD attempted to deliver on Tuesday but unfortunately this was not successful as it looks like the driver went to the wrong location, regrettably. The delivery was made the following day successfully. Our customer services team will email you regarding the additional delivery charge you paid. Thank you again for the feedback, we do appreciate your comments.
