“New to The Vinorium, I ordered a couple of cases to try. First to arrive was the bargain-priced Frei Brothers 2018 Sonoma Reserve. Before we finished the first bottle I had ordered a second case, foolish not to at this price/quality. A while after I received an email from Michelle at Vinorium, my case of Maison de Grand Esprit 2018 has been wrongly routed by the courier. She had been checking the deliveries and had already spoken to the courier. By the way, I hadn't even noticed. Whilst we were corresponding, a van arrived and delivered the wine. Nice to know wines are packed exceptionally well and your deliveries are monitored by The Vinorium. Great wine, great prices, great customer service! What's not to like? Thank you and I look forward to more fine wines in the future.”

“The Vinorium is one of my "go to" wine merchants for the quality of its great wines. Sonoma County Merlot looks a bargain at this price point, and didn't disappoint. The Dabbler is a regular purchase - free delivery made it a half-price bottle!!”

“Customer service par excellence. I am a fairly regular use of Vinorium as I love the range of wines (having lived in Oz for a while). Recently I tried to purchase Veugeot Grand Esprit as the review was outstanding - the order was placed within 90 mins of reading the review - alas the system said sold out!!! I didnt believe it, I thought it was a system glitch so I emailed Stu to alert him. Amazingly it had sold out in that time, but typically customer centric, when Stu wrote back, he promised to try to source more and reserve some for me. It arrived yesterday. Delighted customer! Great company to deal with. John PS not the first time I have had outstanding service (eg Stella Bella incident replaced with Moss Wood)”

“Great prices and brilliant service. Tracking comms makes it easy to see where orders are and on the seldom case I need to contact customer service this is always quick and courteous. Great selection of my favourite wines and the only wine site I keep on my internet Favourites.”

“Consistently great wine at the right price. My only gripe is that Stu is just far too good at describing all the reasons why I need to own a certain bottle of wine via email, and he gets me every time. Fortunately the wine never disappoints! Delivery is always prompt, wine arrives in the condition you’d expect. If there is a rate issue with wine supplied or on order, a resolution will be found.”

“Good website, great communication and speedy delivery. So, why 3 stars? I've been underwhelmed by the wines. They just don't live up to the descriptions and the hype. They're OK, but I've never reordered anything. I keep being seduced by the marketing emails and think perhaps this wine will live up to expectations. I think I must now accept that it's not for me.”

Hello Derek. Respectfully, we do not believe our tasting notes are overhyped. Of course, wine tastes / descriptions are subjective however, we would urge you to read the 180+ customer reviews (proceeding yours) which disagree with your assessment of The Vinorium. You also state “I keep being seduced by the marketing emails and think perhaps this wine will live up to expectations” – We have only received two, small orders since March 2022. One in March ’22 (9 bottles) and one April 2023 (9 bottles). “A great range of wines and excellent service. My only small complaint is the packaging for deliveries, while very sturdy and secure, can be hard on paper labels, especially those that run close to the bottle of the bottle. 5 of 6 labels from a recent delivery were damaged.”
