“My journey with The Vinorium began in 2021, in the middle of the pandemic. I was planning a very special dinner at home — an Indian-inspired, Michelin star–styled celebration for our first Valentine’s together. I needed the perfect bottle. The Indian menu had suggested a Muddy Water Hare's Breath Pinot Noir 2013 as the ideal pairing. I had no idea where to buy it, so I searched online and discovered The Vinorium. At the time, I thought I would only buy that one bottle. But then came the newsletters... First, the Standish 2019 announcement. Then one about the best-value Margaret River Chardonnay. Then Utopos. For the past four years, I haven’t missed a single email. Each newsletter isn’t just marketing — it’s passionate storytelling. I found myself learning, dreaming, and falling down a rabbit hole into the world of Australian wine. Australia soon became an even more special place in my heart — it was in the Whitsundays that I proposed to my now wife (yes, the same from the Valentine’s day). Today, every glass of Australian wine we share from The Vinorium is more than a drink: it’s a moment that connects us back. “Delivery note not enclosed therefore recipient (Robin Baker)had no clue as to whom had sent surprise gift. Tracking used recipient's name instead of sender's name (which had not been requested) Obviously a mix up!! However, apparently, wine was divine. Review written by Joanna Guthrie (resident Australia) who sent the gift!! Future use of site a definite plus, please advise if form had been incorrectly applied. Always willing to learn.”

His name and address were used for both the invoice and delivery address. We can see that a delivery note to ‘leave parcel at front door’ was added but no further gift message. Accordingly, we cannot provide a gift message if one is not provided… We followed your instructions to the letter, which makes a negative review rather unfair. You are most welcome to contact the team to ensure your instructions have been received correctly.

“So good to find a vintner that stocks Kay Brothers wines at reasonable prices. The Shiraz wines tend to be too strong for me (being a lightweight!) so I was delighted to find Griffon's Key Grenache which I shall keep untill Christmas to share with my two brothers, so the Kay Brothers will be drinking Kay Brothers wine, what a splendid idea. Vinorium are easy to deal with and keep you informed of delivery detail along the way. Highly reconmend them.”

“Three years ago Stu highly recommended the Maison de Grand Esprit Vougeot Premier Cru 2016 which he was selling for an incredible £70 per case in bond. A month ago I took delivery. The wine is superb. He said it was a bargain then and now I can completely agree. I've been a Vinorium customer for at least 10 years and have never been disappointed, either on taste or value. The delivery service has always been superb and the whole team are a delight to deal with. And like so many other customers I've learned to trust Stu's judgement. We trusted him when he launched Utopos, and that was a stunning success for all involved (especially customers). Thank you Stu for showing what it is possible for a retail business to be.”

“Good Evening Vinorium , My first ever transaction with you . Having spent almost 18 years in Ashford being blissfully unaware of your existence ! Back in the mists of time - 30 plus years ago - I used to source wines from the Australian Wine Centre , just off the Strand in London . They supplied a great selection of Aussie wines that I enjoyed . One of which was John’s Blend . Produced by John Glaetzer . At that time head winemaker for Wolf Blass . I wondered whether the brand still existed & you have demonstrated that indeed it still does . Looking forward to the tasting ! Service so far very good ! Lady on the phone very friendly & helpful . Delivery on time . And bottles impressively packed to protect them . Just the small question of when to crack one open .. Thanks . John Heaton 🍷”

“Life’s too short for cheap wine — but The Vinorium proves you don’t need a bank loan to drink brilliantly. The Vinorium specialises in outrageously good wines without the outrageous price tags you’d expect from certain wine regions. Think top-tier Aussie treasures that outshine bottles thrice the price elsewhere. Service? Flawless. Delivery? Rapid. At this point, I should probably set up a direct debit to The Vinorium and be done with it. Honestly, they've been supplying me with bottles of liquid joy for so long, I’m not sure if they’re a wine merchant or my personal happiness dealer. Cheers Stu and the team”
