“Absolutely appalling!! The web page advised I was buying light bulbs from an extremely reputable English company trading for 73 years! I then received light bulbs from a Polish company I had never heard of, stating on the outside of each of the light bulbs "Not to be used in domestic light fittings! Industrial use only!" so I checked the invoice, but the SKU was the SKU was for the English company's light bulbs which I had not been sent. I also never received any e-mail or contact of any kind asking if I wanted industrial light bulbs that I could not use before they sent me them. So I sent a very polite e-mail requesting a refund or if they could just send the English company's light bulbs I had actually ordered, no reply at all, nothing!! BUT I then sent another SIX!!! emails over the next six weeks, not a single reply to ANY!!! of them. I went on their website TWICE and used the "Speak to me" option in the corner, they did not reply to either attempt for me to speak to them. Never ever buy ANYTHING from this company!! I see you reply to some of the comments on this review site, I very much look forward to your answer to the above, or an e-mail, or a refund, or anything whatsoever.”
“Very poor service. I ordered a simple lamp with a short delivery . It took months to arrive . I called their service line about 10 times to get clarity. Their service rep had no idea what was going on .
When it did arrive it was slightly damaged and had been repacked in a used box. It was either a return or something had been wrong and they tried to fon me off. I couldn’t be bothered to send it back and ask for a refund- my life is too short. The whole experience was about as bad as it can be and I consider myself to be a tolerant undemanding individual. I will never buy anything from this outfit again.”
“This product was returned, no acknowledgment received.. Was returned two days after delivery.. paid to send back, called as still no response, promised refund when I called!! Still no response, still no REFUND.. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY”
“Received wrong sort of bulbs ordered and one of the was damaged.
They had advertised spiral eco bulbs which were similar to 14 to 15 i have so thought of ordering similar ones seen on their website.
Not a good service and was wasted bulbs”
“Very poor communication from this company.
I ordered two bulbs which I had to return as they were the incorrect type.
It took several emails before I got a response with instructions on how to return them.
I have had confirmation that they have been delivered back to the company, but, despite further emails from me asking about the refund, I have had no response.
I have tried ringing them, but the telephone number on the website reports a technical fault.”
“The item I ordered couldn’t be located in the warehouse. I received an offer of an alternative but when I responded I received no reply despite chasing on numerous occasions. Not good customer services”

On returning my order which was not as described they denied they had received all items which they had sent and in hindsight I should have taken photographs and kept my return receipt but they failed to refund me in any way. Just be careful when ordering from this company.”
“2 weeks too arrive. Loads of phone calls made by myself. No customer service had to speak to the warehouse man who made contradicting excuses. Finally arrived and the finish on the light was extremely poor with the lacquer finish bubbling. Phoned again and was told by warehouse man to send photos and they would send another. Surprise no response to the photos or the emails I sent. I wish I had red the reviews left by other people as I would not of ordered. Please do not order, if you do you were warned. To this day I have not heard a thing. APPALLING COMPANY.”
“I purchased two lights. One light made a low buzzing noise when switched on or when a usb-c cable was inserted. The other light failed one me day after it was installed. I returned both lights to The Lighting Centre (Lancashire Electric Lamp Co Ltd) in their original packaging. I have been chasing regularly for the last 10 days but despite assurances from them that a refund will be made they have failed to do so. Exercise caution.”

“Very complicated returns policy, MUST use clear tape, MUST print and manually fill out a form. Compared to most online companies these guys are not good enough. Also did not answer my emails. I’d avoid them given the chance again.”
“Part of my order arrived damaged and the Lighting Company are not communicating with me to arrange my return refund despite many calls. I'm dissatisfied and disappointed with the service. Only part of my order was damaged but I'm so unsatisfied that I will be returning the whole thing for refund.
My order also did not arrive when it said it would, it had been marked as dispatched when it wasn't which caused a delay.
I've had no responses to any emails I sent.”
