“From my recent email to your help desk: "A small thing: in the meantime, I keep receiving invitations to buy more things from Sealskinz. Perhaps you can appreciate the irritation of that. And today, there is an email asking for reviews of the hat and gloves that I paid for but suspect(fear) I will not receive. There was an AI 🤖 bot that “tried” to handle my complaint. Perhaps it would be a better use of AI to co-ordinate communication within your organization (ie, with your sales and marketing departments) to avoid this kind of insult rather than to mollify insulted customers." I expect that if and when my order comes to me I will be happy, but this request for a review is really an insult, and I have taken to using the expression "Artificial Idiocy" to refer to the do not reply automated email systems like yours.”

“Beware the picture on the website might not be what you might receive and you can’t speak to anyone on the phone. I order a beanie with the sealskinz small leather band and receive a beanie with sealskin printed on front, sent it back for an exchange and got the same result. Unfortunately this was a Christmas present for my brother. Very poor.”

“I ordered some slippers on 30/11/25. When they arrived they were too small so I did an exchange for a bigger size. I got an email on 13/12/25 to say my new order had been placed. I have still not received the bigger size, no tracking available and now a Christmas present that has never arrived. I’m not sure when I will receive them or if I ever will. It’s a shame because I love sealskinz products.”

“Very poor service..my order was returned due to poor quality and new order placed. Email said order being processed but wasn't actually. After several emails which were AI response my order has now been cancelled. This was a Christmas present that has not been had. Very disappointed with the service”

“It’s probably not sealskinz fault, but the product I bought has not yet arrived. The tracker app says it has been in the distribution hub since 3rd December. Very disappointed as the weather is changing.”

“The bobble fell off my daughter's new hat in a week, the chin strap comes undone on my son's new hat, the heated gloves are really uncomfortable to wear because the battery pack is too big. I can't even find a place to get in touch with customer service. Tried and submitted a ticket which just became a dead end.”
