I paid upfront for the CMI Level 3 Diploma in Principles of Management and Leadership but the experience has been disappointing. The website advertised unlimited tutor support and no mention of extra charges for failed assessments—but after enrolling, I found out there are hidden fees if you need to resubmit your work £40 and £70, and tutor support is practically non-existent. My tutor never responds, and I was told I’d need to pay extra to get help, which directly contradicts their marketing. I feel misled and would not recommend this course unless they become more transparent and accountable.

We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us; your feedback is invaluable and essential to our continuous improvement efforts. At SBTL, we are dedicated to maintaining open and transparent communication. We would like to clarify the distinction between tutor support and assessments. Our tutor support is designed to be comprehensive and unlimited, offering guidance through personal meetings, assessment feedback, guidance and assistance with any queries you may have. Our assessment process must comply with the guidelines established by the awarding body. We offer two types of assessments: formative and summative. Formative assessments provide learners with detailed feedback on their assignments, helping them identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments. In contrast, for summative assessments, according to the awarding body’s guidelines, learners are allowed two resubmissions in addition to their original submission. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify that additional charges, including those related to resubmissions, are clearly stated in the assessment policies and procedures, as well as in the terms and conditions that you accepted prior to enrollment. We were unable to locate your learner details using your email ID. To help you further, please contact us at support@sbusinesslondon.ac.uk. We are here to review your case and ensure you receive the support you need, including the waiver of the resubmission fee. Your feedback is important to us, and we are dedicated to improving your experience and supporting you throughout your learning journey to ensure you have a positive experience. Best Regards, School of Business and Technology London

Dear Learner, Thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking time to provide your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you have experienced some troubles accessing your course. It's disappointing to hear that you feel it's all fake, and we take such feedback very seriously. We understand that you had some troubles accessing your LMS, however, we have requested your presence via virtual induction twice in September, however, unfortunately you couldn't make it. We then sent you a detailed email on how to access your LMS and what are the steps that you need to follow. Further, we received a virtual induction invite from you for 21st Sep and we showed you how to access your course. We also sent you an email with all the login credentials and have also removed the OTP access so that you can access your LMS without any trouble. Afterwards, we didn't hear anything from you and assumed everything is fine. Moreover, from the LMS log, we noticed that you have accessed your portal in October. We strive to provide all our students with the resources and access they need to successfully complete their course and earn the qualification that they have desired for. We are committed to resolve any issues, that prevents our learners from studying their course, as quickly as possible. We encourage you to reach out to our support team if you have any issues as they are always available to assist you in the best way possible. We appreciate your feedback, and we truly hope to restore your confidence in our school soon.

Delay in uploading workbooks in the LMS, this delay is not healthy as it makes it very difficult and you also set an expiration date for your courses, what happens when you did not upload the workbook and course expires?

Your feedback has highlighted important issues that need to be addressed, and we are determined to make the necessary improvements. We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide further insights into how we can enhance our processes and ensure a smoother experience for all our students. Not the best start of my study ,my first year was terrible and couldn’t have direct contact with the tutor as I was an online student which I felt unfairly treated. Improvement is required and should comply with the Equality Act as every student must be treated equally. After my awful experience, i won’t recommend it

The student support team doesn't reply to any queries and I only got materials for 2 of the 8 modules. The only team that reply to any email was the admissions saying that they will pass my query to other team. It was a waist of time and money, I was enrolled in the level 7 executive management, they didn't have the course materials for this course, only 2 out of 8 modules. With the quality of the materials being of low standard. It looks great on the website but in actually looks like it's a scam school.

Dear Joao, Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry to hear you faced some difficulties. We deliver the programs with the utmost integrity and in line with the guidelines and regulations of the awarding bodies. We believe the team promptly responded to your concerns and have resolved the same to your satisfaction. At SBTL, we follow the drip-feeding method, meaning the course materials will be available in stages. As soon as a learner completes the first module and submits an assignment for the same, the material and brief for the second one will be made available. We made the first unit materials available as soon as you were enrolled with us, but we haven't received any of your assignments yet. The second module was also made available, and we notified you of the same, but there was no initiative from you to complete the assignments. If you require additional support, we are here to help you with the same by offering a few blended learning sessions. The entire team is looking forward to assisting you throughout your learning journey with us. Best Regards School of Business and Technology London

My experience was not good… Reasons I abandon the course. Too many things distributed across too many places, and the support service were too generic considering the fact that the process was not start forward. You receive one email for A another email for another B and another for C . When you go back about an issue , you are told it is email B or the login for that is in email C. Word of advice create a playbook or a student walkthrough file for each course. In the file it takes students through each step and can get links to what they need to do at each stage from that one document. Making it easier to find links from there and to know what next to do from there.

Dear Tunde Ajiboye, Thank you for your review. We are sorry you found it difficult to access the portal and course. We have documented every step to access the LMS and support desk, and these were shared along with your login credentials. We have also shared the assessment guidelines, enabling every learner to complete the assignment without any struggle. Several documents are uploaded to your portal, giving numerous information on plagiarism, referencing and citation, time management, assessment guidelines, assignment structure, etc. There was only one module to complete for your chosen program, and you have completed the same; we have given you two formative feedbacks on time and asked you to submit them for final summative marking. We have been waiting to hear from you since Dec 2022. You never expressed your difficulties, and had we known about the same, we would have definitely offered you a few sessions to make you understand the course. Please feel free to contact us; we are ready to assist you throughout your learning journey with us. Best Regards, School of Business and Technology London.
