Overall I wasn’t blown away by the experience. I had been bought a gift voucher to use and put this towards a six-bottle case of wine. Once I’d bought it, communication was slow and I felt like I was having to chase. In the end, it took a week between my order and then being able to collect which I thought was a bit slow. When I arrived to collect from the store in Macclesfield, it felt chaotic. There were two staff on duty, one of whom was doing drinks and the other was seemingly doing something on the phone. I waited about ten minutes before I was even acknowledged. When I did speak to someone, it took about thirty seconds to give me the box. It was as though it was neither person’s job to deal with the shop side of the business.

I am happy with the website and how easy it was to place my order but dissapointed that there is no option to select a delivery date. My order is going to be delivered much earlier than I wanted it to be for a Christmas gift.

Service from the point up to delivery was very smooth and easy. Unfortunately let down by choice of courier as have yet to receive goods after an “attempted” delivery. No sign on the ring doorbell or any evidence they have been to the house unfortunately.

£9 delivery charge with no free returns is unacceptable. It was £12 total deliver + return an unwanted item previously, which was nearly half the price of the original item

Wines arrived quickly and I had good communication before they arrived. But the wine which arrived had the wrong vintage year. And I didn’t get a response to my email on this.

It all went a bit awry when the intended recipient of my gift would not accept a "cold call" to arrange pick up. I arranged to pick up the parcel at Bents Garden Centre myself, so far so good, but was then never informed that it had arrived! Ah well...got it in the end and all's well that ended well!
