“I wanted to write to say a very sincere thank you for your recent support for both funerals where I was Celebrant recently. Your gentle and professional support for both families together with your guidance and assistance for me was much appreciated. It was good to be able to work with you and your team on such sensitive and important funerals as they said goodbye to their loved ones. “We had a very small committal service for our father in advance of a larger memorial service at the church. This went very well, the music was lovely, and the chapel was well-presented and peaceful. The spacious setting of the Memorial park was very pleasant, and there was plenty of parking. It was also quite accessible for wheelchair users, which was important for our family. The booking was made through Neville Funeral Directors in Hitchin.”

“We had our mother’s cremation at the North Oxford Crematorium. It has beautiful grounds and the crematorium having sofas and a good sound and audio system was nice. It may have been different if the weather was raining as the waiting room was a little way from the crematorium. There was no rush and the timings were very good.”

“We chose the South Oxfordshire Crematorium because we had visited it for other funerals and felt that the beautiful garden and the light and airy building were very suitable for our Mum’s celebration of life. We were able to choose lighting, the curtains to remain open, a projected image that was very special to Mum, music, even adding in our Mum’s own piano composition, and have a dove release in the garden. It made the most difficult day of our lives bearable and for that we are very grateful.”

“Very happy we chose Amber Valley for my mother's funeral service. It's in a beautiful setting and looks very well maintained. The chapel was very comfortable and the large screens worked perfectly for the photo tribute presentation. We were also able to stream the service live so that friends and relatives who couldn't attend the service were able to watch it from home. Naturally, it was a difficult day, but I was left with good memories of my mother's send-off, rather than anything negative.”

“Sadly on the 15 February I had to say goodbye to my beloved husband at the North Oxford Crematorium. I could not have wished for a better experience. The surroundings are lovely (will be better in Summer) it is peaceful and most important has plenty of Parking Spaces. Inside is warm and comforting and being able to see photographs etc brings back Happy Memories.”

“We recently had my mum's funeral here and we were very impressed with the quality of the service and how smoothly it went. The A38 was closed and we were 15 minutes late but we were accommodated and the service went ahead as planned. It's a lovely place to have a service and such a beautiful setting. Thank you to all that were involved in giving my mum the send-off she deserved and for supporting our family through this very sad time.”

“The crematorium is modern, light and fresh. It has a modern sound system and screen facilities. Once the service is over, there is the covered shelter in which people can congregate and chat. However, there is no such shelter for attendees to congregate prior to the service. We had elderly people who had got out of their cars stood in the wind and rain awaiting the arrival of the hearse. This could be improved.”
