“Alas I have attended many funerals at Woodside Crematorium and was unsure whether to have my husbands funeral there as I found it a bit depressing. Id heard the place had undergone some changes so decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised when we got there. The decor was lovely with comfy grey seating and new carpeting. Our choice of celebrant and input from our family, to celebrate my husbands life also made the service itself a more pleasant experience for us too. I believe the waiting room and toilet area for waiting family and friends has also had an upgrade too. This has all been a welcome and long awaited improvement at Woodside.”

“It is such a lovely location, very peace filled, beautiful space inside, filled with light and a serenity. Really a very fitting service that encapsulated my father to the full. Everything was handled through our funeral directors, Howard Chadwick and went seamlessly. Plenty of parking and no sense of being rushed. You enabled us to give Dad a fitting send off. Thank you so very much”

“Everything was handled with care and dignity. There was a short wait to get into the chapel, which gave us time to acknowledge friends and relatives. The chapel was very comfortable and audio/visual was very good. Many people commented on how nice the crematorium was”

“Really lovely gentlemen and so helpful too. I had asked many question's and these were answered quickly. The service was really lovely and I can only highly recommend the whole experience. We felt supported and that my Mother was in everyone's thoughts. The whole family were very happy and couldn't thank everyone enough. Thank you all so much. I can only thank everyone. “We were very impressed with the facilities at the crematorium. There was plenty of outdoor shelter for us all to get out of the torrential Welsh rain before the hearse arrived! Indoors, the room is lovely and the seating very comfortable. The AV provision was excellent and the acoustics very good too. It was a very soothing atmosphere for the occasion. We particularly appreciate the closing curtains for the committal without a descending coffin.”

“A very lovely service . Good location with lots of parking . Well kept garden area . The recording and video link for relatives unable to attend was also very useful. All in all as good as it can be.”
