“Only one minor misunderstanding, a member of staff working outside didn’t know my husband’s car would be leading the hearse and he asked my son in law who was driving it to kindly move over, it was soon sorted out .”

“A lovely place in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The surroundings were very calming and felt right for such a difficult moment. The staff were kind, respectful, and supportive throughout, which made a real difference on the day. Everything was handled with care and professionalism, and we felt well looked after from start to finish. Thank you for helping to make my mum’s cremation a gentle and dignified experience in such a lovely environment.”

“While the funeral,if my husband went very well and efficiently, when we came out of chapel. After I my about 25 minutes. There was a large crowd waiting to get in for the next funeral and mad did quite difficult to leave with our guests and just felt that out privacy was invded. But otherwise very pleased with the service”

“We chose Memoria at South Oxfordshire for my late husband's funeral - the whole experience was very positive and memorable. As a family we loved the setting and the approach to the building itself. The staff were all very welcoming and respectful. Colin Green was our celebrant and he led the service beautifully on behalf of Abingdon Co-operative Funeralcare. As my husband unfortunately passed away just before we were due to relocate nearer to our daughter Memoria very kindly arranged for us to be able to collect his ashes the very next day in order for us all to make the journey to our new home in Leicestershire. As a family we cannot recommend Memoria highly enough - thank you for everything 🙏❤️”

“From the initial brochure viewing to the setting, facilities and ambiance of the Memoria I was very impressed. Our service went smoothly with many positive comments from attendees. My only criticism would be that once the service had finished, I felt rushed to leave which did not give me time to acknowledge family members and friends I had not seen for months, and some even years. This changed my overall experience. I understand that when another service is booked in, this is difficult but if families could be given that bit more time at this very heartbreaking time it could only improve families experience.”
