“First experiance of purchasing from yourselves & no complaints. I had to exchange a couple of times due to not being used to generous sizes. The team assisted me in getting it right & although my original design / colour Shirts were not in stock, alternatives were discussed & chosen. I am now looking forward to wearing them & seeing if there's a good reaction. Hopefully they will remain looking good for many years to come. Meals out, parties & holidays. Richard. West Midlands.”

“Fantastic quality, colour was also perfect and exactly what I was after. There was a slight issue initially where I received an incorrect item, however it was rectified immediately and I received the correct item the next day.”

“Spent £587 in January on wedding suits as they had exactly what we wanted, in stock. Unfortunately by the wedding itself we needed one pair of next-size-up trousers and were basically told to go away, nothing could be done except allowing the new customer discount that anyone could get online! Bearing in mind the goods were still tagged, unused, and sealed (apart from having been tried on) seemed really poor customer service. They said "Oh we can't exchange because the material batch might be different", but surely that applies anyway to any suit bought as trousers and jackets separately anyway? After much insistence and threat of an even more poor review I was allowed to speak to supervisor who offered an additional small discount percentage on another new pair of trousers. Should have bought elsewhere from somewhere with more customer service caring when spending such large sums of money.”

While we do offer an extended returns period for exchanges, your purchase was made over nine months ago, which unfortunately falls outside of this. That said, we did offer a discount on replacement pair as per your request as a gesture of goodwill. Whilst you are of course entirely within your rights to leave a negative review, we do not feel it’s appropriate for reviews to be used as a means of leverage or threat should certain demands not be met, which you did make clear from the start of your call to us. We always aim to resolve matters fairly and in line with our policies. We’re sorry that this still fell short of your expectations, but we appreciate your feedback and will take it on board moving forward.

“Quite disappointed with the quality. The 2 shirts different styles and one is really shabby... I got approval for the orange one below then told it wasn't available so ended up with a different one. Quite poor”

We’re really sorry to hear you were disappointed. After receiving your return, we did try to arrange your requested exchange, but unfortunately the size you wanted was out of stock at the time. As an alternative, we offered you the choice of a full refund or an exchange for a different design — including more expensive options at no extra cost to you — so that you weren’t left out of pocket. Following this call you went away and selected a new design which was dispatched back out to you, free of charge, that same working day. We always do our best to make sure every customer leaves happy, and we’re sorry this situation fell short of your expectations. “I don't often leave reviews, but I feel like it's worth saying this time around. I bought the tie, cufflink and pocket square set for my boyfriend to wear to my best friends wedding. The quality of all seemed to be of a much higher price than what we paid not just is material, but the pattern of the tie too. I will certainly be looking at JS in future when it comes to formal attire.”

“I found your company searching for male grooming kit. The mens 12 piece nail set is superb, I bought 5 for Christmas gifts and I have already given my son his, the kit is perfect, pieces sturdy and everything in the tidy leather case that's needed for nail care. “I had been looking for a velvet bow tie for a black tie event. I saw this online from Jenson Samuel. When it arrived it definitely isn’t velvet, more like moleskin and although it’s an okay shape it’s pretty thin and flimsy. The search continues…”
