“This peanut feeder is described as. “ made of light, strong and corrosion resistant aluminium “ , this is the reason why it was purchased. The hanging loop at the top appears to be made of stainless steel , it’s non magnetic so it’s fine. The outer cage is magnetic so it’s steel with a painted finish. The inner cage again is made from steel. The top dome, the perches and the small bottom dome are non magnetic so would appear to be the only aluminium parts of the feeder. The large bottom dome is again magnetic and is probably made of steel and as it is spot welded to the outer cage will be liable to corrosion in a very short period of time. Spot welds without plastic coating or very heavy coats of paint are particularly prone to corrosion. Disappointed with the product.”

I have never been disappointed and neither have the variety of birds who visit my garden, especially during this very recent period of freezing temperatures. Thanks Ivel Valley.”

“High quality suet pellets that all the birds love. Delivered on time. I don't go anywhere else for suet pellets as other places are lower quality and they either break up or swell up in wet weather but Ivel Valley suet pellets don't do that.”

“The most important thing is that the birds - from the rooks to the tits - love it all. The humans aren't quite so keen on the fatballs, which seem to break very easily, but as they're not for human consumption, that's not really a problem! Delivery was, as always, very quick and bang on time. Great bird feed, quickly delivered and even more quickly consumed by our feathered friends! Will be back, guaranteed!”

“Thank you for the surprise Christmas Tree shaped Apple & Suet Treat in with my recent order (I have told the birds they have to wait until Christmas to open them). The birds have been desperate for the suet pellets due to the icy weather so I have just ordered some more. They all seem to like the mixture I put out for them (apple, mealworm, berry). I also soak mealworms in water for them, but it has been so cold the water has been freezing. I have found a solution by suspending the dried mealworms in an old sieve inside a bowl of hot water then I can just empty the sieve outside. I was putting cheese out for the birds as well, but certain furry friends were eating it. Best Wishes for Christmas and ther New Year.”
