About Halo:

Halo is a registered charity and social enterprise running 25 sport and leisure centres throughout Herefordshire, Bridgend County Borough, Merthyr Tydfil, Shropshire and Swindon on behalf of the local authorities. We often discuss our status as a social enterprise, but many of our customers are unsure of what it actually means and more importantly, how it benefits them. Being a social enterprise means Halo trades for social purposes. We are a registered charity and 'not for profit' organisation, with no shareholders.

The money we make is ploughed back into the facilities.

“So helpful staff, clean area and equipment. The only minus for me personally is early close on Sunday everything else is top”

“Fair price for blue light, great staff- give them more positive feedback, would love more variety of classes, lockers being removed was annoying, could still do with more. Bring back the hamstring curl lay down machine!!! Beginner or intro classes! On the wish list…Astro with lane for a prowler please!!!”

“There is an efficient booking system online which I have not had any troubles with. I had a refund for an unused booking of a tennis table but have not been able to activate that back into my booking payments . I pay by direct debit and have had no issues with that. I have been informed of any changes in membership fees. All in all I am quite satisfied.”

“The staff at Halo are first Class always helpful. However there are times it is not very clean not enough lockers with keys as people are leaving their items in changing rooms so we have to chane in the toilets this should not happen”

“Would like to thank Melanie Brown for all her help at the Pilates classes she takes.l have been going since it started and it has helped me alot.It is a shame that one individual has disrupted the sessions and spoilt it for all the other participants. This individual books a session and a selected spot in the class .Mats are moved if in the area .”
