“Fire glass 270x270 does not have the correct two radius corners to fit the fire correctly”

HI Thank you for your review. The glass you ordered which was the Newmans Vista Magnifico Stove Glass ((270mm x 270mm)) is rectangular is shape as per the product description. You are more than welcome to return the glass to us and we will gladly issue you a refund . Kind regards

“Grate Fireplaces always deal with my orders promptly.However I am onto my third grate for my Spanish firebasket.It has cracked and broken up each time after two years usage.I am following all the advice given to prolong the life of the grate re my coal fire but still the grate cannot seem to cope with the heat produced The fire basket itself is fine, just the grate.Expensive to keep replacing.”

“It took quite a while to be received and when it did arrive it was missing the nozzle normally attached to these type of dispenser. I have managed to use it none the less.”

“Paid for the hearth guard at the beginning of January knowing the item was on back order. No correspondence or updates have been sent! So no idea if the goods have been ordered or when I will receive the goods? better communication would be appreciated .”

“Still awaiting for my product 3rd week in. Was advertised as delivered within 7 days. Tried contacting at least 10 times, no answer. Would have reviewed as 1 star if it wasn’t for the website being so easy to use”

“Bought some Vitcas HB60, High-Temperature Adhesive. Reasonably priced. However, using DPD as the courier meant that the plastic tub was smashed during transit. Even on the second time with fragile tape over the packaging. Unfortunately, I had to ask for a full refund.”

“The item itself if better than hoped but there was s glitch in deliver. Initially communication was average but did improve and finally all was sorted. If the item had arrived on time first time this would have been 5 stars”

“Although reasonably robust, this rectangular cast iron grate is only 2/3 the thickness of the one it is replacing, so seems expensive at £50 including carriage. Let’s see how long it lasts.”

“My purchase was brilliant I am really pleased with it. The reason I’ve only given 3 stars is due to the fact I had to pay £16.95 delivery charge because I live in the Highlands. That is £10 over the normal delivery charge for everywhere else. My order took 5 days to arrive so it wasn’t even a next day delivery. We live just 20 miles from Inverness so I have no idea why we are being chastised with such extortionate charges. So regrettably, I won’t be ordering from them again.”
