“Excellent Product, easy ordering and payment process and was looking forward to overnight delivery (as per email advice). Expected goods to arrive next day (Saturday). Rather disappointed that order didn't turn up over the weekend as wine was a Gift, but was happy to receive goods on the Monday. Provided Company can improve delivery, would happily recommend this Company”

“Generally service is very good and delivery on time (as was the case with latest order). Have had 2 damaged deliveries with your carriers used in the past 3 years which is disappointing, but I think this is more to do with the lack of care carriers in general handle goods (even if marked fragile). Have had many non-drinks deliveries damaged as well.”

“Ordered in the afternoon, standard delivery, arrived the next day! Very happy with the superfast delivery, delivery costs not cheap though. Order was a bottle of whisky as a gift, came well packaged, had drinks direct tape on outside of box but nothing to give away the exact contents. All in all totally satisfied.”

“I was a little wary of using a website new to me,and the lack of delivery time estimation on my gin was slightly offputting even after purchase, but it eventually arrived after about 4 days which was brilliant! Packaged really well, would definitely order from them again :)”

“We live in Spain and having had delivery problems with Amazon we cancelled our order for a gift for our Sons' birthday. On a search engine Drinks Direct came up, similar pricing so ordered on line. There was a minor delay in that they required verification of payment from our U.K. Bank. This added a cost to the gift as we had to telephone the U.K. For the verification number. Being regular purchasers on the internet this is the first time that we had received this request - not a particularly bad thing as it shows some care from this company in safe guarding our credit card!! Will hopefully use them again. Many thanks??”

“First time using this company as they stocked a wine that I had enjoyed at a local restaurant. Original postage charge was ?4.99. for mainland delivery but an ADDITIONAL ?10.99. was charged for sending to Northern Ireland. Seemed high but could not fault the speed of delivery and packaging. I would use them again.”

Unfortunately our courier partners charge a higher price for delivery to off shore locations including Northern Ireland. This is a cost which is reflected in the higher cost for Northern Ireland deliveries. We would ofcourse love it, if there was just a flat charge from our courier partners for delivering to anywhere within the UK including off shore locations. However as our couriers partners have a higher cost to deliver to such locations, they then pass this cost on.
