Tracked order and it stated had been delivered. However no sign of the Drinks. Very disappointing service

An email was also sent by the Drinks Direct customer services providing further delivery information. The couriers for your order also advised they had contacted you and resolved the delivery issue. I nominated a specific delivery dat which because I was sent round the houses to complete my order was not carried through. The article I ordered and paid for was not available.

The details for your order shows there was initially an issue regarding a manufacturer update of your ordered product. This was confirmed with you by email before your ordered product was updated to the new style product. There is no delivery date showing for your order. If a delivery date had been entered in the delivery date box during checkout, this information would have been displayed in the order confirmation email you received when your order was placed. As there was no delivery date entered, the dispatch warehouse processed your order the same day it was placed, after receiving your confirmation regarding the product update. Your order was succesfully delivered to the delivery address the following day. If you require any further information customer services can be contacted by email on info@drinksdirect.com or you can call the team durng normal business hours on 0113 365 1000 and they will be happy to assist further. My order for a bottle of Balvenie to be delivered to my brother on Isle of Wight has NOT appeared - so I have paid for it and no one ( unless pinched by deliverer or returned to warehouse and conveniently ignored?) has seen the bottle let alone enjoy it!!!

An email is also showing to have been sent on the day of dispatch confirming the dispatch of your order. Within this email is also a link you can click on to track the progress of the order. The courier's logs show delivery of the order was attempted on two separate days before the order was subsequently returned. Bought for Father’s Day for my husband. He finally opened them to try on Friday and 2/3 of the bottles were EMPTY!! Highly disappointed.

Dear Emma, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to read of the issue you have reported with the order you received. The warehouse are aware of the issue you have highlighted in your review. They stopped the dispatch of all orders with your ordered product as soon as they were made aware of the issue. However it appears your order was processed before the warehouse became aware of the issue. The problem has occurred at the production end - you will find that the bottles in your order each have a plastic security seal on it. The product has subsequently only been brought back into stock, once the issue with stocks was resolved. A member of the team will be contacting you shortly to resolve the issue. They charge you for a timeslot delivery and then use standard mail system that takes 3-5 days! Confused

Dear Mr Daniel Visser, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to read of the issues you have advised in your review. On your order a delivery date of Friday 15 Jan 2021 was entered when the order was placed. As such your order was held by the warehouse handling your order on Wed 13 Jan 2021. On 14 Jan 2021, when your order should have been dispatched for delivery on the 15 Jan 2021, unfortunately the warehouse handling your order was affected by snow, which created hazardous conditions in the immediate and surrounding areas. Whilst it was originally planned for orders received earlier in the day to be processed as normal, it was later decided, due to the ongoing adverse weather issue and in the interests of safety, for staff and delivery drivers to return home early, as there was no let up in the snow in the affected area. Whilst we appreciate not all areas of the UK were affected on 14 Jan 2021, areas that were and where any dangerous situation arises then the interests of public and staff safety are a priority. As such, your order was delayed for dispatch by 1 day and is showing to have been subsequently successfully delivered on 16 Jan 2021. There were updates provided throughout the day on the delivery section of the website. We can also confirm there is no extra charge for a delivery time slot. A time window text message is provided by our courier partners as a valued added service and does have any additional delivery cost. I asked for the gift to delivered on my daughters 40th birthday and the confirmation of my order reassured me that it would be delivered on the day I nominated. Sadly it didn’t arrived until the next day. Very very disappointed.

Buying the product was easy enough getting it well that???s another story was delivered to wrong address which was bad enough we had folk at the house so we were in all day yet no one came to the door then got a neighbour to the door saying they had a card I???m there door saying sorry we missed you it???s in the greenhouse they don???t have a greenhouse I will be contact!!! NOT HAPPY
