The purchase on line was easy, the correct product was delivered. However, I couldn't find anywhere to write a message to go with the purchase, it was a gift, and the the recepient said there was no information as to who had sent the gift! Also there was no way to choose a deferred delivery

Very prompt delivery. Driver left goods at door. Did not ring bell. You did send an email stating you needed proof of age. interesting. John H

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to read of the issue you experienced with the delivery of your order. It is possible to track an order using the order tracking link provided in the order dispatch confirmation email, sent on the day your order was dispatched. Our courier partners usually send a delivery time window notification SMS, where a mobile number has been provided. However, on occasions our courier partners may temporarily turn off SMS notifications at local delivery depot level, where there are out of the ordinary circumstances, such as temporary staffing issues or if parcels are transferred late into the delivering depot from the couriers central hub. Dear Jacqueline, Thank you for your feedback. Efforts are made to try to keep the delivery charge competitive. Given recent increases in minimum wage, stubbornly high fuel and other energy costs, these factors directly affect delivery costs. There are other factors including packaging costs which again have seen recent increases. Despite all the cost pressures, efforts are still made to keep the delivery charge as low as possible. Good product, delivered safely - eventually. I, the purchaser live in Bedfordshire. The recipient lives in Edinburgh, Scotland. I am not happy that the shipper was sending messages to my 'phone about when the package would be delivered when they should have used the recipients telephone number which I submitted with the order. Please try harder.

Having bought a bottle of Jack rabbit merlot on a recent trip to Poland and really enjoying it I was delighted to find it on your website. Assuming your prices were very favourable I ordered a case - unfortunately I didn’t check the small print and was disappointed when I received 6 small bottles - not quite the bargain I hoped for

Dear Mary, Thank you for your feedback. The size of a bottle is provided in the product name on the website. The item you ordered also has the size provided in the opening description of the wine on the product details page. It is unclear on what the reference to 'small print' is referring to. As detailed above, the product size is in more than one place and is not hidden. Prices are also provided clearly against each product. Once your order was placed an email was also automatically sent to your invoice email address to confirm your order. Products ordered and respective quantities are also detailed in this email. Response to my purchase was rapid and seemed efficient. But delivery (by APC) didn't happen on schedule, at some inconvenience to the recipient, who received no communication/apology from APC during or after the failure - and nor did I, though they had both telephone numbers. Fortunately the second attempt worked. So many on-line purchases are spoiled by poor delivery, and yours seems to have been one of them.

Dear John, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to read of the issue you experienced with the 1 day delay in the delivery of your order. I can see your order was placed on Tuesday 11 April and processed for dispatch the same day. Your order was expected to be attempted for delivery on Wednesday 12 April, on the standard delivery service. However, due to the long Easter weekend, it meant that our courier partners were handling a spike in parcel volumes for delivery on Wednesday 12 April. It is very difficult for most businesses to resource up for a very short period of time. Due to the increased parcel volumes, it was not possible for our courier partners to attempt delivery of some parcels on Wednesday 12 April. When parcel volumes normalised the following day, Thursday 13 April, any outstanding parcels from the previous day were put out for delivery. A text message was sent on Thursday morning to advise of a time window for delivery. However, no text message was sent on Wednesday. We appreciate it would be ideal if our courier partner handling the delivery of your order would have texted on Wednesday to advise of the delay. This feedback has already been passed to the courier partner handling your order. Unfortunately, not all our courier partners provide the same level of text message feedback due to different IT systems and differing levels of functionality. I’ve given 3 stars because the delivery company claimed to have delivered my purchase the following day, but alas, they didn’t. Even the tracking states it was delivered but my ring door bell says very different. At the time it was ‘claimed’ to have been delivered, nobody, and I mean nobody, came to my door. Yes I contacted the delivery company who failed to respond as is the usual I suppose. I’m now just waiting for the excuse of COVID which is now a default option for every business it seems. Had I actually got my purchase, I’d have given the full 5 stars as Drinks Direct was the only place I found which sold my desired tipple in a 3ltr bottle.

Only purchased Jam Shed wine from this Company as couldn't find it elsewhere. Tesco now stock it so cheaper and also no ridiculously exorbitant delivery fee

Swift delivery previous orders use by date was over 6 months ahead This order use by date only 6 weeks ! Otherwise it would be 5 stars

I am not as happy with your present level of service as I was formerly. You have done away with your savings when buying two bottles of anything and you use a delivery firm that ignores specific delivery instructions because the parcel contains alcohol - crazy!

Only online supplier of Tetley's Smoothflow with stock available to deliver, although it comes at a large price premium and a not insignificant shipping cost. The service and speed of delivery was good. But, the cans arrived a bit shaken up. Overall experience was, if I'm being generous, at best a 3.5/5.

First time have used this company Good points Impressed the way that the goods ( three bottles ) were packed ) Not so good points Courier delivered to wrong address, however when I telephoned company they were quick to speak to driver. From his description of the property he had delivered to I was able to identify property not to far away from my address

My only disappointment was I requested that my delivery was sent to arrive on the 26th November as it was a gift. It was sent on the 17th.
