About Coffee Hit Ltd:

I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

But if your like me you like to geek out a bit and we also have some really cool coffee brewing gear for my fellow coffee geeks.

“Too many times I've left the bag open and the mild roast coffee has started to wane as I got to the bottom of the bag. Not saying I still won't forget to seal the beans with the atmos. But I stand a better chance of spotting my mistake by checking for the green indicator. Time will tell. Its nice to see the beans through the clear container.”

“Our coffee was delivered within 48 hours of ordering and the tracking system offered a mobile telephone number so that I was able to speak to the driver, John, who was very helpful. The grinder was super well packed and arrived safely. It works well and we are now enjoying our espresso as much as ever. My only reservation is that the instructions are limited to a single small card so, if we had not the same model before (which gave sterling service for nine years) we would have found operating the grinder difficult. As it is we have a couple of 'extra bits' whose function is unknown.”

“UPDATE on the below review: The customer service team did eventually reach out, apologized, and sent a replacement for the damaged item. I, therefore, revised my review to 4 stars. Thanks, Coffee Hit! ------------ Great products. Very bad customer service! We ordered quite a few Rhino milk jugs for our cafes. One or two were damaged, I contacted Coffee Hit to let them know, hoping maybe for a replacement. They just ignored my request and I never heard back from them.”

“Although much later availability of my Baratza grinder due to world events, I was kept well informed & when the despatch of the product arrived, was advised in a timely manner. The only critique I'd make is the route through despatch. This was via Whistl. In the past whenever goods have been sent to me, Royal Mail has been the final delivery service. I've never received direct delivery from Whistl. This usually results in the tracking breaking down & you're left in limbo as to when the delivery will be finally made. With this delivery it was Yodel who were delivering. I have had bad experiences with Yodel over the past 2-3 years with other suppliers so if I can I try to avoid them if I can, even closing accounts from suppliers who use them exclusively. In this instance the tracking was maintained by Yodel. One snag. Part way through they advanced the delivery date to the next day. Unusually they gave the name & mobile number of the driver who gave me an assurance it would be delivered that day. And it was by private car not the usual van. So good result but why the delivery variation? So use a reliable service & I'd have given the full 5 stars. The grinder is great. Reduced static & the added benefit of repair if anything goes wrong. No land fill here.”

“Took some time to arrive in Texas, want 220 volt coffee/tea/toast appliances in home. As an Engineer, it’ll be connected with 220 volt GFI, traveled Europe many years ...like the quick results.”

“The goods arrived super fast but I hadn't realised they would be coming from different places. This was a little disappointing as it meant more packaging and more delivery costs. Nevertheless what arrived pleased us enormously particularly the Dear Green Brazil Fazenda Pantano.”

“I bought a grinder. The price was great, the service was great, the only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars was the cheap and poorly fitting Uk plug adapter to adapt from EU. It’s very loose with too much play. Otherwise brilliant service.”

“Great product, and service. Unfortunately didn’t make the expected express delivery date but I was refunded the extra delivery cost. Only issue was I didn’t receive a despatch confirmation, which, as it said to expect one, made me think it hadn’t been despatched.”
