It's taken over 4 weeks to fit our bathroom and either me or my partner have had to have time off work only for nobody to show up. The shower is fitted too far to the right so we have to lean over to avoid the lip of the bath. Instead of plastering over old pipework they've screwed on bits of wood so it's not flush with the wall. We were told that somebody would come to us first thing this morning and again it's a no show. We can't afford to miss any more work so we'll finish it ourselves

The workers were fine. Its the people who run the company. Couldnt run a bath in my opinion, then have the damned cheek to blame their office staff for their sheer incompetence and now some of the staff have been made redundant because the people who run Bell cant take responsibility for their own company. Definitely telling everyone i know never to use this company. The monkeys run the circus and this is why the company is going down the toilet. Horribly run and dishonest morons running it.

Bell are a total waste of time. Incompetent workforce. They have been working on a block of 69+ flats for over a year and everything they touch is a mess.

Do not use these guys, we have no choice, they had a few jobs to do, one was to paint the outsides of some doors, and boy what a nasty mess, paint left on the window panes, brown paint splashed on the ground and walkways, no sanding down prior to painting, no dust sheets, no prepping, just in, paint and get out fast, of given the choice, you would be the very last on my list of people to use! I'd even had done a better job and I'm not even qualified! Ohh and 'sorry' doesn't work either, a real apology is changed behaviour, it happens time and time again, I've SEEN it time and time again! And no I would NOT trust you to do any maintenance work, and I thought Mears had a bad rep!

Terrible work ethics, It seems to be the case that most of there employees/subcontractors spend most of the work day standing around looking at their phones or chatting, that is probably why they never get anything done or leave such a mess, starting too many jobs at once never finishing anything. They don't even bother with dust sheets in residents accommodation.

Started work on what was supposed to be a week long job in January 2023 and the work is still incomplete in June! Sent someone for a site visit who quoted for work which their own workman later said would not solve the issue. He did some extra work which is still awaiting to be finished. Another site visit was arranged without our knowledge when no one was in the property. Still awaiting resolution. Bell head office is chasing us for payment for work not undertaken. Very poor.

Would not recommend at all. In fact would actively avoid and not use. They attended and painted our ceilings in two rooms, both rooms are peeling,flaking and dropping parts of paint. Stated they attended the property and no one was here, utter nonsense, person in the house is disabled and can't walk far at all. They attempted a second visit where they never attended at all. Overall, the staff members were nice, the total nonsense stated though is exactly that, total nonsense. Would not use of given choices.

Total joke of a company over a month with no flushing toilet ,workman came last night said didn't have part in van ,someone will be out next day , wait in all day and recived a call at bk of 4 saying the job has been booked in for 2 weeks time ,I am wondering if it was a private repair would it get seen to quicker ,as being a housing association tenner I am being treated like a 2nd Class citizen

Well probably if your a private customer you have received better service my bathroom was ripped out on the 6 th of April until the 13th of April after constantly calling with only 1 tradesman attending plaster falling of whist having a bath in a building site they send back a tiler no electian manger being rude on the phone both me and my daughter has asmtha dust everywhere plumber swearing due to be annoyed over the bath leaking not my problem told they've taken out to many bathrooms with no tradesmen day 14 in a 5 by 8 bathroom still no sink not forgetting my daughter has autism dog my dog let out in the road .I'm a council tenant so heads up to anyone in a council property they don't care your last on there list

No dust sheets at all. Poor work and poor workers. Poor communication. Wet room was meant to be finished in 5 days but still not finished in 7 days. Put tools and took box on our glass top cooker. Every work surface had tools and rubbish on. They use our electricity to charge their power tool batteries. Light above sink falls off wall when switched on. Extractor fan turns on when light is switched on but doesn't turn off even after 4 hours. Toilet not bolted to the floor and has leaked all weekend. Guy turned up today to put the lid on the drain. Went to get it and has nkt come back yet 6 hours after leaving. Many many other things have gone wrong. Im left we no seat or handrail in shower ! Not a good reliable company at all.

You wanna try working for them , they ask you to work stupid long hours and then don’t wanna pay you , New management thinks he s a CSM in the military Then when someone’s at the lowest point , they wanna kick you in the Goolies !

Came to the property to paint. Rather than request to move vehicle for access they covered my car in scabby dustsheets resulting in scratches and paint over the bonnet, windscreen and wings. If this wasn't enough they also moved the industrial style bins which appear to have impacted my car leaving a visible dent. Staff refused to give details of company even implying the two of them felt intimidated because I raised my voice at the complete jibberish they were saying. Common sense says you ask people to move vehicles or cover them in clean dustsheets not ones covered in paint and cement. I think when you willfully damage someone's property due to your own negligence the way forward is not to deny responsibility, point out touch-up paint on the bonnet next to the paint that you dropped , act like you can't see the dent in the quarter panel and finally check how old the masonry paint is by rubbing it into the less than week old laquer with his finger and spit. And yes rub in is the correct term as it didn't remove the paint splatter and considering the advise was not to even wash the car for a 2 week period I'm guessing vigorous rubbing with his index finger probably more harsh than a sponge. Trawled the Internet to find a number to call who where polite but more interested in passing me numbers to call them. My first thought was no, my first call should be the police for criminal damage not chasing round to find someone who could have the same number of brain cells as those encou teres on site, so I left my details and advised I will be contacting the police in 1 hour if I hear nothing back, that way no one needs to feel intimidated and they can revoke their rights to their own complaints procedure. Smart. Having been a contracts manager for Homeserve, Peter Cox and Axo Nobel I have an idea how good site management is implicated.

Avoid this company surveyor rude and they try to take advantage of VULNERABLE customers. Because they are so narrow minded they think no one knows how to do the job better than them but one thing which ill point out. Why would you use standard plasterboard in a bathroom un ventilated over moisture board? Why would they think its best to cover mould with paint? I wouldn't use them if you can help it. What I have done is forwarded there job list full of bodged jobs to the Housing regulator to prove this company is negligent against Vulnerable people

I would give less than that because they reverse there vechles into other peaples property and damage gates then lie about it and send some one to. Takeke sneaky photos t to say no damage with our coming to ask or ae the real damage they cause , pathetic

Management in Kirkcaldy are very poor . Denying shoddy jobs they arranged. Then have the cheek to call employees Liars . Disgusting behaviour, verbally rude to employees. Speculation on jobs change weekly. Blame other people for their incompetence. When questioned .denial and lies . Couldn't run a bath .never mind a company.... Ridiculous management..

AVOID THIS COMPANY. NOT SAFE TO WORK AVOID VULNERABLE PEOPLES HOMES. What could only be explained as a rouge company, 7.45am I had a man turn up at my bedroom window and started painting, he never knocked, never had any ID, there was no company sign written vans.. he could of been anyone!! And when I spoke to him he really had no clue on what he was doing, he even admitted that!! He left gutter waste for multiple properties down the side of my property, he then took it upon himself to try and use my garden as his work yard to store his things for the week, when I looked over my camera footage, it was really obvious he had no idea what he was doing and left half the work because he couldn’t work out how to stand his ladder, pretty sure this man was either on drugs or just completely incompetent because when leaving the close in his car, he didn’t look both ways and was a inch away from crashing into my car with both myself and my child in. When I’ve rang the company, they said they would ring back and they didn’t, they have then ignored my calls. AVOID THIS COMPANY. NOT SAFE TO WORK AVOID VULNERABLE PEOPLES HOMES.
