About Bell Group:

Whilst we are considered a market leader, our Group remains a family owned and operated company; George Bell, our Chairman and Founder, set up his own commercial painting and decorating company in April 1984 – Collins and Bell Ltd – operating throughout the central belt of Scotland. Since that time the Group has grown through acquisitions as well as organically; this has resulted in developing a strong network of services, which have been designed to integrate on a national, regional and local basis. Our key strength as a business is our team which we have developed over the years; this is partly thanks to the comprehensive training programme put in place for all employees and our commitment to respecting individuals.

“I live next door to a property which has been " renovated " by your company. The roofing contractors you employed didn't properly secure the plastic sheeting after removing all the roof tiles, and for the next couple of weeks the rain poured in, making the house uninhabitable. My neighbours were put up in a bed and breakfast for months. The roof has now been fixed, apparently, but after 6 months the scaffolding is still up. We gave you permission to put scaffolding on our property while the work was being carried out, but no way did we expect it to still be here 6 months later. My husband has called several times but the calls aren't being answered. I'm sure our local MP Mel Stride will be interested to hear about this, as will our local newspapers. Get this scaffolding off our property both front and back with immediate effect. I look forward to seeing your response.”

“Had bell come round to fit Solar panels for Runnymede council Didn’t tell me it could effect my prepayment meter which went blank Contacted Kristina she told me nothing to do with electrician and to contact my energy supplier took 6 days not knowing how much credit I had Bell should warn people that it could effect key meters I’ve been thro hell and back trying to get it sorted Through no fault of my own BEWARE”

Dewley House is an assisted Living Building with customers with Care needs. l would like to thank the team for being so Patient with our customers, always happy to help and having the time to make conversation every day. “I had the most amazing team come to fit my front door. They were respectful and friendly! They done the most uplifting high standard work replacing my door. To the point it's actually not just completed but they done it so that it's above the expectations! I honestly can't not thank the two men that come to do it! They cleaned afterwards fully and without hesitation! I would highly recommend them again! Again I was not expecting this type of standards due to past experiences with other companies! High recommend! The two lads were friendly, hard working, committed and completely professional! I had to leave immediately after the work was carried out due to having other commitments that I needed to ensure so I was unable to get their names again to be sure! But please give them my upmost praise and appreciation!”

“We had a wet room installed last summer. The work was supposed to take four days, ten days later it was completed. During this time we were flooded four times and unable to use the toilet for two days. This week the entire wet room is currently being ripped out due to more leaks under the floor waste. We have now found out that the branch manager sent a gas fitter to do the plumbing last year. The workmen arrived at around 10.15 then disappeared for 11 o'clock tea break then at around 12 it's a hour the 3/4 lunch break.”

“I’m a tenant with MHS Housing in Kent. I was nervous about the works due to start because my previous experience with a contractor was an absolute nightmare. However, before the works began, an older gentleman named Mark from Bell Group came to my home.He introduced himself with a smile claiming to be the Boss, explained the process, and instantly made us feel at ease — though I still expected things to go wrong. Mark kept his word, visiting during the works to check on progress. He was genuinely a lovely man and had the respect of his team, who worked tirelessly to ensure everything was finished to a high standard. They even cleaned up so thoroughly that you’d never know they’d been here. Hats off to Bell Group, Mark, and his fantastic team for turning a potentially stressful experience into a great one!"”

“We had leaking issues from one of our retail units at our site at Marischal Square in Aberdeen. Barnie group's plumber surveyed with camera's prior to work commencing and the job was organised with a two day window to allow for flooring to be relayed in the kitchen area of the retail unit. The guys arrived at site 07.30 and were ready to go, they easily completed the work in one day, a first class job where everyone on site was happy.”

“Their drivers are absolutely dangerous. Break speed limits, undercut other road users. If this is how they operate in sign written vehicles one can only imagine their behaviour on site.”

“We have a complaint about the noise before 8.00 in the mornin which they say they don't start until 8 the generator goes on which makes a noise they throw things over there yard and we have pictures of them there before 8.00am and they know they shouldn't make a noise until 8.00am we called the council and they said they should start from 8.00am to 6.00pm and Saturday 8.00am to 1.00pm and they come after 1.00 on sat”
