“The printing and quality was fantastic. The delivery, which is probably outside your control, let the service down a little. I was out at the time of delivery and left a note for the item to be placed in the garage. Unfortunately it was left in an outside storage box without the lid being secured down. Consequently the package got soaked and I lost about one third of the fliers to water damage.”

“Good communication from A Local Printer. Ordering was a bit awkward because I somehow ordered 2 copies of an order of service by mistake, but this was refunded with no hassle. They had promised we would receive the order in less than 1 week, which was good. However, when we contacted them to make sure 1 day before we needed them, they said the order had not been shipped yet. This was despite an email saying it had been shipped. We were a little stressed and gave the man on the phone a rather unpleasant time (sorry), but the situation was rectified and we received the order on time. It did create a lot of stress at an already stressful time, but we are glad the order arrived on time.”

“The printing service has been very positive all the way, adjustments that I requested have been made precisely and I have always been provided with the updated print preview. The final product was made with care and it looks beautiful, it was experimental but I will definitely have other works printed with alocalprinter as the service has been very efficient and transparent. Delivery has been on time, even though I did not receive a notice as I thought I had to, someone was home to collect the package. Packaging is minimal and I believe more companies should take inspiration from the example you set. Thank you, until next time!”

“Not the cheapest, but I dare say you pay for what you get - very speedy, good quality and helpful service, thank you. And they do recycled products which is the main reason we first started using them.”

“My first experience with A Local Printer wasn't a smooth one as I hadn't understood that I need to log onto the account and approve the proof. This time around, knowing the process, it went really smooth and I am super pleased with the quick turnaround of the stickers and quality.”

“It is only when you have a problem with an order that you can tell how good a company is. I had a minor issue (my fault). The company identified the problem and suggested a choice of resolutions to me. Great customer service and an excellent product delivered in good time. I will use again.”

“I received very prompt communication from Miranda when I had a query regarding the receipt of my proofs. Unfortunately, the emails had gone directly to my email junk inbox and this was not immediately clear on the website and so the order was delayed a little. Once approved my order arrived very quickly. Loved the quality of the eco-friendly paper and happy with the options available. Thanks very much!”

“I was so happy with the quality of the prints and the turnaround time. The only thing that wasn't so good was the way my notebooks were packaged. They were just loose in a box and so a lot of the edges got damaged and one of my designs has a big fold in the corner. I can just about smooth the edges down on most and flatten the bent corners under books, but it's a shame I have to do this. I would definitely use this company again, but I think I would ask them to wrap more carefully next time. Just some tightly wrapped tissue paper around each stack of notebooks would help.”

“I ordered some pre-printed card-catch stickers. Because of a mix up on Local Printer's end of things these weren't dispatched for several weeks. However, when I emailed for an eta I got a prompt and friendly email apologising for the mix-up and the stickers were with me around 3 days later. And they're ace. Thanks! Cheers folks! Claire”

“ALP have the best customer service ever - contact them by e-mail or phone and they will answer all questions. They even called me themselves when they spotted a mistake in my artwork. The work was then carried out promptly and in great quality. Still, I'm awarding only four stars as I find their website rather confusing. My questions and mistakes arose chiefly because there was too little information about formats and other options on the website. So I hope this can be improved in the near future, to make ALP a five-star company all round.”

“I am giving 4 stars as the quality of the printing was very high-standard - I ordered some very colourful designs to be printed and they look great but I was disappointed with delivery. I ordered on the 11th January and went for standard delivery which was supposed to be within 5 working days but I received it on the 23rd January, so 8 working days after which was unexpected as delivery was for Central London so hardly rural!”
