Usually very efficient, but this time I got lots of mixed messages from sales/tech sign off, plus a large leap in costs

Hi Sarah, thank you for your comments regarding this order. I believe this is a simple misunderstanding on both sides over several different conversations. To address your comments regarding the increase in costs, this was due to your placing an order for double sided printing rather than single sided. As per our telephone conversation the refund for the difference in price has already actioned by us. There was also some confusion at our end as the previous job reference supplied with this order was for a single sided sample whereas the order placed was for double sided printing. At that point we were not aware that you wanted single sided printing and were basing our response on the double-sided order placed. As per above, once we understood your requirement, we actioned the refund to you and your order is progressing. Last year the flyers I had printed were excellent. This year they are not nearly as good. They have a scruffy/scuffed look to them and don’t feel as nice. If I didn’t need to use them immediately I would have sent the, back.

We have contacted you directly via email requesting some samples or pictures of the damage. We confirmed that the paper is the same as the previous printing and the production method is also the same. Once we have some samples or pictures of the issue we can get back to you. Thank you for your review. We have now had a conversation regarding the soap wraps and your requirements. We do not sell this item as water or greaseproof, and we sell many thousands of these with no issues. As you don't have an example available of the paper that you require we will supply some samples of different paper for you to try with your soaps and hope that one of these will be suitable. Great print quality but delivery times took a bit of explaining. Once they had been helpfully explained then I could properly plan design and delivery times.

I am a little disappointed with the service I received as they got my address wrong which meant I had to carry 3 heavy boxes of postcards down the road. They were not apologetic but they did offer to resend them, however this would have taken a lot of extra time (over a week extra). As a small business, receiving the postcards late has a knock on effect to how we are perceived and it was disappointing. The postcards themselves looked good which was the saving grace!
