“I am halfway through the 120 Hour Online only TEFL course and have found it very interesting so far. The Chapters are organized very well and the transition is seamless from one chapter to the next. I am learning a lot and feel a sense of accomplishment when I finish a chapter and pass the test. Having said this there still needs to be some improvements put in place. The videos used in the course are very helpful but also outdated and of poor quality. These need to be re-done as they reduce the value of the course when the audio and picture are not clear. Some of the links also did not work and there were spelling mistakes throughout. With some small improvements this course could really be 5 stars. I would still recommend it for beginners out there who want to learn more about EFL and use this as a stepping stone to actual teaching practice.”

“I really like this course so far. It's engaging, lots of videos and podcasts to keep me focused and lots of handy tips to use moving forward in my teaching career. The platform still needs some fine tuning. A few errors that take away from its otherwise very professional layout and its not easy to move around. You can waste a lot of time trying to move between pages within each module. Also, it makes no sense to repeat the whole test if you get 1 or 2 questions wrong. Its a copy an paste exercise and in most cases they provide the answer in the test review so it really defeats the purpose. I would change it so you only have to repeat the wrong questions and don't provide the answers so the student has to think about it. Also, the time suggested for each module test is completely underestimated. The written responses take time particularly as I also research my answers and not just rely on the course material. This should be noted more realistically as I thought I was doing something wrong when it would take me 3 times longer in some cases.”

“This Premier TEFL course is thoroughly and thoughtfully planned out. The information is professionally formatted in a modern outline format, enabling the reader to absorb the necessary knowledge without getting bogged down with a surplus of words often found in other course studies. I find the particular font color intensity to be too light, however, which makes it difficult to read. I have connected twice with the customer service staff, and they are extremely prompt, polite and helpful.”

“I am studying the 168h online TEFL course. It is well structured and uses a variety of teaching methods. My only criticism is that before enrolling I (maybe naively) thought the exam at the end of each module would be marked by a human (and not a computer) and that the grade would be based on the quality of your answer rather than who many words you have used to respond. The online support is excellent.”

Thank you Bryony for taking the time to share your feedback; I'm delighted to tell you that your open-ended assessments are marked by a human 🙌to make sure that you can move through the learning material at your own pace you'll be allowed to move to the next module if you meet the word count plus have key phrases present in your answers. At the end of module 11, you'll be assigned an assessor who will grade all of these answers.

This course was very user friendly, provided great ideas for teaching in a foreign classroom, and I felt like the review quizzes were helpful in getting the information to stick. I enjoyed this course!”

“Great course, easy to fit into lifestyle, presented in manageable chunks. Presentation could be a bit more stimulating with the use of images. UI could be easier to manage - its hard to pick up where you left off. Tests are not unreasonable. Would recommend :)”
