“I researched many different TEFL organizations before choosing PremierTEFL. I was drawn in by their blog, they seemed like a close knit group of hard workers dedicated to guiding their students and interns and that’s exactly what I have experienced. My experience as a teaching assistant in Spain has been incredible. I literally get paid to live in Barcelona, teach cute kids all week long, live with different families and learn about their culture and I have enjoyed every minute of it! My family at PremierTEFL has been with me every step of the way, and the TEFL course they provided definitely prepared me for my internship and beyond! I am planning to repeat my internship program again next year I loved it so much!”

“I am nearing the end of my 120-hour Advanced TEFL course, and I only have one module and quiz left to go. (You can write your review as early as Module 5.) This course helped me expand upon the preconceptions I already had in regards to educational methodologies, which makes me a little better equipped to teach at university + levels. More importantly, however, this course helped me think of new activities to add into my lesson planning at all levels. Each module and accompanying quiz took me roughly one to two hours of my day. I think you will be able to successfully complete the course without too much more added onto your workload. Best of luck!”

“After signing up for my course, I got the course link and information really quickly. The course layout is very straightforward, and it is broken down into ten larger categories. These are then broken down further into manageable chunks to review and learn. It is interesting, and provides usable, important information. As a current teacher, I am happy they include tips for class management and curriculum/classroom set-up, as a new teacher would need that information just as much as the subject content. I am midway through the course, and I really like how it is set up so far.”

“I’m about 1/2 way through my 120-hour TEFL course and I think Premier TEFL is just okay. The interface is extremely rudimentary and not at all engaging. The lessons are really text heavy. While I think a lot of the information is useful and somewhat interesting, the way that the text is presented is just blah. It looks like the course website/interface was created by someone with very little coding knowledge. I think that I will ultimately walk away with useful information but I think better presentation could have made the course more enjoyable. And as the course notes students, students who enjoy what they’re learning tend to learn better. Adding videos, reformatting the text, and formatting the activities in a more interactive way would do a lot for the interface. Secondly, I am not yet impressed by the resources available to students. The resource guides and course material alike seem to just be a conglomeration of info pulled from various websites. Lastly, the job guide is not super helpful. Since I am not interested in signing up for one of the low paying internships or guaranteed positions offered by Premier TEFL, I am a little concerned that I will not be able to find a job. Hopefully the specialist courses that I am taking will give me an edge.”

“It seems to have adequate information and resources, but the course is incredibly boring and could be much more concise. (I was not an English major, but I did graduate with a Communications Degree and took many different classes to fulfill that. )”
