Have used Opie oils for years, delivery is always prompt with good communication and if I do need advice I've either emailed or phoned them and got the answer/advice reqd.

Customer service was great all the way through. Got sent the wrong oil but it was rectified with a next day delivery and collection of the incorrect oil. Jack was brilliant throughout. Everyone can make mistakes it's how they handle those mistakes that makes the service and OpieOils are brilliant.

I have successfully used Opie oils for several years now and have found them to be very good and competitively priced. Ordering is simple and the web site is informative. Unusually the box was not well taped up on this occassion but luckily nothing was missing or damaged.

Opie Oils were very helpful a few years ago in finding the right oil for our Corvette and Cadillac. Since them I have always bought all my engine oil from Opie since they are always competitive, deliver quickly (and free) and have huge stocks.

I made a mistake and ordered the wrong oil and contacted opus and asked them if they would change it. They arranged for the oil to be picked up free of charge and also provided me with great assistance in making sure I selected the correct oil this time. Also, they don’t give me a discount, so to get to the point, they’ve been brilliant and I will always use them and give my friends their contact deals. Didn’t expect that, look after your customers and they will look after you. Kindest regards to the team.

Excellent range of oils and related products, reasonably priced and timely delivery. In my experience metal cans may sometimes be dented in transit as in the example in this photo, but no leakages till now.

What can I say other than incompetent!!! I have had the misfortune of dealing with this lot twice in a week and all I can say is it was a disaster from start to finish. First order from there website. Spoke to someone who said order would be with me before the weekend, they didn’t dispatch it for 3 days after the order was placed. When I asked the question I got a robot reply with it’s all been done within specified timeframe, no answer to my question just a robot response. Luckily enough it arrived Friday. But their customer service was terrible. Second purchase I thought I’ll try eBay see if they’re any better on there. Yep you guessed it they was worse. I placed and order, found it allot cheaper on there website so I requested to cancel the eBay order within 10 minutes of placing it, Monday early evening comes and they create a tracking number and decline the cancellation I requested. I message them and get no reply. I speak to eBay to ask what to do and they tell me to open a return for the item. I do this and get an automatic returns label. I then get a message from them telling me the return is not guaranteed and the item had already been sent before I cancelled it lol (which is a lie) they then proceeded to tell me they had reported me for wrong return reason lol what a mess of a company. They’re not the good company they once was, I’d save yourself some stress and hassle and shop elsewhere for your oils.

Regarding your cancellation request: we apologise that this could not be processed. eBay cancellation requests are not guaranteed, as outlined in eBay’s own terms and conditions: "Buyers can request a cancellation, but it's up to the seller to accept or decline the request." Since our customer service team does not operate over the weekend, your request was first reviewed on Monday morning. At that time, your order had already been processed — though tracking details are uploaded at the end of the day, the dispatch itself occurs earlier. While our team correctly noted that cancellations cannot be guaranteed, we acknowledge they misspoke in saying the order was dispatched before the cancellation was requested. What they meant was that the order had already been dispatched by the time your request was seen and could be actioned. We sincerely apologise for this wording error. Lastly, regarding your return: you are absolutely welcome to return the item. However, we noticed that the reason selected was "Wrong item sent", which does not reflect the actual situation. eBay has advised us to report any misuse of return reasons, as it impacts seller & buyer performance metrics. If you'd like to return the item, please feel free to open a new return request using the appropriate reason (e.g. "Changed mind" or "Ordered by mistake"), and we will be happy to assist.
