“one product was not in stock, I had to call to resolve the release of the in-stock products. After weeks I had to chase on the update for the out of stock product, which I was told the lead time had changed to not be available. I was not informed, or offered a resolution automatically, I had to do all the chasing and resolution myself. Simple fix - don't allow a customer to buy something that is not in stock...!!!!!”

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience. I can see that the product was marked as out of stock before your purchase, and a stock warning was displayed throughout the checkout process. We keep the option to purchase these items available for customers who are happy to wait for stock to arrive rather than source the product elsewhere. We also apologise that your order was not automatically part-shipped. Our standard process is to dispatch orders in full, as this is the preference for the majority of our customers. However, we are always happy to arrange a part shipment on request. I can see that after you contacted our Customer Services team, a part shipment was arranged and we contacted our supplier for an estimated delivery date. We were advised that stock was expected during the week commencing the 20th, and this information was passed on to you by email. When you contacted us again on the 20th, we had not yet followed up with the supplier as the expected delivery window had only just begun. Following your call, we immediately chased the supplier and were unfortunately informed that the product was no longer available. We updated you as soon as we received this information. Had the expected delivery date passed without stock arriving, we would have contacted the supplier for an update and kept you informed accordingly. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and frustration this situation has caused, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

“Opie handled my order very efficiently. FedEx, their chosen carrier, however, were disappointing. The oil was dispatched very quickly and FedEx provided a delivery slot the next day, very prompt, by 12:40. I immediately went to the FeEx website and delayed delivery by 24 hours, expecting to be out at the scheduled time. The next day I received messages saying delivery would be by 12:40 - my delay request had been ignored. In fact the goods arrived around 14:00, by which time, fortunately, we had returned home. Their driver told me to ignore the messages as they come from a system that does not know where the goods are.”
