“Service from Opie was first class, easy to identify correct oil, ordering and paying was straightforward and secure, and swift acknowledgment of order. Unfortunately, felt a bit let down by the courier (not Opie’s fault), paid for next day delivery on Friday afternoon, expected not to be dispatched until after weekend, but wasn’t delivered until Wednesday. Overall a good service and will use again, but maybe I’ll order by midweek next time.”

“Everything very good except the delivery by the courier. The delivery was split into two parts. The second package arrived only after intervention by Opie Oil (Sam) for which I am grateful. I had to wait at home for three days in total.”

“I reduced the rating from 5 to 4 stars because of the condition of some of the items when I unpacked them. The boxes containing the oil filters and wiper blades were damaged because the oil cartons were not effectively restrained so they crushed the other items in transit. Other than that I was please me with my first time use of Opie Oils.”

“The customer service was very good. I was given the name of opi oils by Burlen Ltd when ordering parts for the carburettor on my P4 rover.I had problems with a sticking needle valve and asked questions about fuel additives to minimise problems with the new fuel with ethanol. When I contacted opie I named an oil additive that I had in mind. Whilst they said that my choice would work they advised another product that would give better protection. I took their advice and ordered the product. The package was sent by recorded delivery so that I could track the item and request a place for it to be left. As I am working on the carburettor at present I have been unable to use the product. As stated the service from opi was very good.”

“No problem with Opie. The delivery company however, not so good. UPS did not advise me the package had been delivered to the collection point. When I went to collect there was an issue as tracking number already scanned?!”

“Not as good as they used to be. Quick delivery and good products but you used to get a cardboard funnel, plastic gloves, an air freshener and sometimes a bag of harribo, which was always much appreciated. Nothing this time. I understand money is more stretched nowadays but those were the little things that set Opie Oils apart from the rest.”

Thanks for the review and for your custom. We do still send out the disposable top-up kits, but only on orders that contain an oil service pack or top-up pack. For orders of a certain value, we do include an air freshener... if you didn't get one, sorry! As for the Haribo, it's not something we've done before, so I think that must have been elsewhere. We hope this has not deterred you from using us again in the near future for your oil needs.
