“Sadly, once a reliable and fast supplier, my most recent experience with Opie Oils has been disapointing. Curious, I asked friends about their recent experiences and they were very similar. Parts listed as 'in stock' were in fact not in stock, and I wasn't informed for just shy of a week (admittedly with the Easter weekend in the mix, but this still seems like and excessive and unnecessary delay as surely their stock system is advanced enough to be accurate - they were 'missing' from the shelf when the warehouse staff tried to fulfil my order, apparently). Waiting patiently, I followed up a further four days later having noticed that the parts were STILL listed as 'in stock' yet my order hadn't yet been fulfilled. This prompted them to dispatch the order. Not the absolute end of the world, but I did mention to the staff member dealing with my queries that I'd since made an order with another parts supplier who are infamous for taking a long time to fulfil orders that arrived before this one - had I known, I'd have saved time and money ordering from them instead. I won't write Opie Oils off for now, but will be mindful not to expect anything in a hurry if I order in the future (although Royal Mail's inability to process parcels quickly also doesn't help, of course).”
