Expensive - and the last thing I ordered, Red Jalapeno Flakes, had just 4 months shelf-life on them which for our business which is blending and packing is no use at all. If they'd told me I wouldn't have ordered. I've emailed Just Ingredients saying I don't think this is great but no-one has replied. I only use JI if I absolutely can't get say 500g or 1kg of an ingredient anywhere else. And they use Evri for delivery which is a variable experience. Quality is ok but short dates are off-putting.

I gave 3 stars because the quality of product ordered is not consistent. No problem with delivery or packaging however.

Not happy that there’s very short best before dates otherwise it would have been good..supermarket has 3 years just ingredients 4,6 no more than 12 months best before they told me I can use it a year after best before that’s besides the point…they say cheaper that’s besides the point also I’d rather pay and have a good date….

The initial order got lost in EVRI's hub, so I tried to find out how to sort the issue out by phoning Just Ingredients, only to find that their contact number is not manned, but requests that all queries are sent via email. I sent an email, and I did get a callback, the problem was sorted out. However, the inability to speak with a real person slows the whole customer service experience down dramatically. So whilst the problem was sorted out, it took 10 days to get the products I ordered, and I am a reseller, so my customer has had to wait extra time for their order.

I’m not Sirenia I got calendula petals or French marigold, because they seem to be quite large flowers for a calendula… There’s also a lot of buds which reduces the amount of petals, they’re the main thing, isn’t it. And again, they’re quite large flower heads, but mostly green, obviously…

Mmmmmm. This is difficult & in no way a reflection on the goods of Just Ingredients, but an honest review of my experience. I made an order as an expat Brit. living in the EU, who had used JI in the past for excellent herbs & spices. But, I was not prepared for the nightmare awaiting. Having made orders with other UK companies since "Brexit Day" I am used to packages arriving at a local courier or Post Office, phone call, drive into town, pay VAT, take parcel home. This package came with DHL express, mixed feelings but expected the same service. WRONG!!!! Phone call from DHL Athens airport. "You need to find a Customs Broker". What!!! Eventually (3days later) found one who would talk to me, passed on all info. Phone call back ½hour later, "€100, plus €85 for DHL brokerage (they did nothing except rang me) & Import Duty (on zero rated import duty items, according to the EU Customs & Import Duty information), plus import VAT on delivery to you. So, £45 goods + £27 DHL express for delivery, €100 customs broker, €85 DHL & import duty, VAT on arrival with me. Total over €300. The package is now officially on a 6month countdown to destruction. Would I order from JI again? Absolutely yes, but maybe not for a while. Something needs to be sorted regarding this problem. DHL do not make these issues clear before accepting a package for delivery into the EU. There is also something remiss with wanting Import Duty when not applicable. There were also discrepancies with the paperwork which accompanied the package, which is apparently completed by DHL on behalf of JI so could be either DHL or JI so I won't make further comment.

I have no complaints about the product but delivery is abysmal. My order was placed on 22nd September but as of this evening of 3rd October nothing has been received. Delivery of my previous order was also very slow.

I wouldn’t rate very poor as l had good experience in previous orders, but I cannot rate any good as I didn’t receive the order, which was supposed to be with me last week but didn’t, so I had to email justingredients for refund on Saturday as I was flying that evening

Not over impressed, to be honest. The "trade" prices are not much better than the standard retail and the standard retail site offers free delivery. Lets hope I see an improvement when it comes round to our next purchase.

The spices seem fine, and we love the Tamarind Paste, but the sencha green tea is very disappointing, not nearly as good as other green teas we have had
