“The purchasing part seemed easy and redeeming the vouchers as well however I never received my item when I was suppose to and can only communicate with the supplier via email which can take several days to get a response”

“would have been 5* but charging double post for 2 of the same items ordered should not be allowed will now make me think before ordering again you are also asking questions about the items which have not been delivered and also have not been posted”

“I didn’t like having to provide the subsequent merchant with my credit card details as well as the Wowcher. The voucher covered the whole amount due so I couldn’t see why my credit card details had to be submitted.”

“Good prices but once ordered had to pay extra for postage so something that was 12.99 plus 99p admin then paying 5.99 for postage ended up being 20 pounds”

“The location was absolutely stunning but the room was lovely but smelled of urine very strong smell no soap or toiletries plugs didn’t work properly and window left open in hall way difficult to close you would need a ladder to close but all in all enjoyed food was delicious and afternoon tea was delicious great location and near town centre”

“My order is late.contacted wowcher and they said contact the merchant. Well I ordered through wowcher so why do I have to contact merchant. So if I buy a pair of shoes from j d sports and have a problem do I have to contact nike or Adidas ?? no it’s absolutely pathetic.will not be ordering anything again..”

“Ordered a Divan Small double bed with Headboard and memory mattress. Receive an email to say that they will make delivery on a certain date and will text us a time frame but did not. The delivery was made on the allocated day that stated in email. Everything seems fine. Headboard seems cheap but bed is very good and comfortable. Easy to put together. Happy with purchase. Just waiting on one other purchase from wowcher and will leave another review”

“It's a bit of a lottery ordering from Wowcher. Some stuff is okay, some isn't. I recently ordered 12 rolls of three-ply toilet paper from CN Direct Biz, which were supposed to have a retail price of £49.99. What a rip-off! Half the size of normal rolls, highly inferior paper and no proper perforations. I can only assume either Wowcher or the manufacturer is deliberately misleading people to make a profit in these difficult times. Very disappointed.”

“I bought a computer for 330 pound it never turned up they blamed the merchant gave me a Mobile number they wont answer now there phone is off The bank said it was wowcher who took the money out to cant talk to anyone it's all done by live chat the bank is trying to get money back they said it's a scam this needs to get on TV like Martin Lewis show people need to know about this it's a big scam there a huge company and this needs to stop it's disgusting”

“It didn’t bought 2 supposed Mystery electronic deals... absolutely useless... consisted of cheap plug in ear phone ( £1 in bargain shop) and a cheap cheap battery charger... could have bought in pound store cheaper £10.00 each plus delivery... cheap imports not worth the money also bought a wireless alarm clock and battery charger in one thought box was empty it was so light paid £14.00 plus postage again another cheap import which I would be embarrassed to give as a Xmas present”

“They didn’t really! I bought a Wowcher for Bannatyne Health Club And Spa In Durham and used it on Good Friday. We kind of got 2nd class treatment because we’d booked using a Wowcher. Our treatments were delayed by nearly half an hour. When we got our treatments they were lovely and very relaxing; so that is an aspect of the experience that we liked. However, we found leaflets in the spa area which showed we could have had the same treatments cheaper by booking directly with Bannatyne. We paid £32 and got £10 each back, which meant we paid £6 each for the Bannatyne towelling robes, towels and complementary slippers - the gowns were a bit small and we found waiting for our treatments in the main reception for quite a long time a bit awkward in bath robes, with a lot of skin on show; lots of people walked passed us to access the gym and cafe area. It made us feel a bit self conscious. The relaxation room was lovely with heated, tiled beds. What spoilt the experience a bit was the noise and chatter from outside the room. There was a sign in the room saying to expect noise in the evening but this was mid morning. Now, the spa area does need a lot of TLC and doesn’t look like the pictures wowcher show when promoting the deal. The steam room ceiling, for example was peeling and damaged and the pool area was a bit dated too and the water was very cold 😬 We finished off our our experience by having a lovely lunch in the cafe and the Thai Green Curry was delicious 😋 Overall, I’d say go for the treatments but don’t do by Wowcher, Groupon or any deals like that. Book direct!! Also, leave out the Spa unless you want to feel like you are at your local council pool. Actually; South Shields Swimming Pool is fab and well maintained so maybe I’m spoilt 😂 We left Bannatyne’s earlier than we had planned and visited the retail park next door.”
