Spoke with the customer care team who were very helpful. I've used my local store in Liverpool in the past who have always been helpful too. “I bought a ex demo lens which was great value and in great condition, the order was shipped the next working day and packaging was excellent so I can't fault Wilkinson on anything. FedEx however did let me down by not delivering on thier stated delivery day. Further investigation showed the item didn't leave their recieving warehouse until the day after they received the item as it should have. I wasted all day waiting for a delivery that was never going to happen because they did not update their headline tracking. I understand things can go wrong but with the sophistication of todays tracking systems throughout the supply chain there is no excuse for not updating the customer tracking information and communicating this to the customer. So well done Wilkinson (5 star service), FedEx - "needs improvement"”
