I opted for the free postage, which meant 2-3 days for delivery, my purchase of a new flash gun was despatched immediately and I received it the following day. “I went into the Preston Wilkinson's shop wishing to upgrade from a Nikon bridge camra to a DSLR. On advice from a friend I knew what lenses i needed but was less clear on the actual camera other than I wished to stay with Nikon. The shop staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. They offered advice without being pushy and "let me feel my way through things".. They also made me aware that most of what I wanted I could could be provided from their'pre-owned' stock'. This allowed me to afford a camera best suited to my needs.”

“I made a comment about the amount of packaging. I was lambasted by the manager, not the person serving me, that it didn't matter what 'we' did, as, quote 'Ecuador dumped their waste into the sea' when I made a comment that we all must try again, he aggressively retorted that as the Chinese population was so large what was the point. I try to use local shops partially to cut down on exterior wrapping eg Amazon and just to support the economy. Attitudes and behaviour as above put me in doubt as to whether I will ever visit your Kendal store again.”

“pleased with the help i had from Wilkinson cameras before i bought my lens. assured me that though the box of the lens would arrive looking a bit scuffed the lens inside was new and would have normal 1 year warranty. saved a fair few pounds on this lens. shipping and delivery were quick.”
