“Very helpful gentleman in the Preston shop, via telephone, helped me with my purchase of Binoculars without seeing them. He steered me through all the different types and sizes and the ones he suggested are absolutely ideal. Very pleased with such a professional and polished knowledgeable service. “Excellent communications, good service and quick delivery. Pity that despatch had to use a large box and lots of non-recyclable plastic. A small recyclable Jiffy bag would have been sufficient for a small 52mm lens filter.”

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. In order to send your item safely on a Next Working Day service with a courier, we used a larger box. Couriers and very small items like yours don't mix very well, so to ensure your item arrived safely, it was bulked up a touch. Don't worry, the plastic filler used in your parcel is the filler we receive in ours! All the packaging material that comes into us is recycled, including bubble wrap, air bags, filling chips, boxes. For example, we re-use plastic void-fill such as air bags, bubble wrap and chips when packing customer parcels. And we re-use as many of the boxes as we can do to send our parcels. The ones we can't are sent for cardboard recycling. And if we have to buy in cardboard boxes, these are made from recycled and unbleached cardboard. Hopefully you are able to reuse the packaging material and recycle your box with your local council collection. Hope this puts your mind at ease! Alex | Wilkinson Camers

“Excellent service once more. I ordered at about 3.10pm on a Friday, and was aware that I had missed the dispatch deadline of 3pm which was clearly stated on the website. However I was delighted to hear shortly afterwards that my purchase had been despatched that day anyway. It arrived just after 9am on Monday morning, and I am pleased that Wilkinson Cameras uses DPD as its courier because they seem to be best in class by some distance in my experience. I was given a one hour timeslot and was also able to track my delivery by following the van on a map (OK, I need to get out more!).”

“Nice to be able to contact a friendly local store that can be trusted.It was nice to be able to ask a member of the store several questions and not feel like i was being rushed. The lens i purchased was described as used but i when it arrived i was delighted in the condition as it looked brand new. The courier service you used was spot on and the lens was extreemley well packaged. Yes i would buy from you again.Thank you.”

“Very easy to find my way around the website to look for the camcorder I wanted and easy to purchase. It arrived well packaged and on the day arranged, the driver text me with a one hour delivery window and this worked very well. Thank you for the excellent service, this camcorder has been purchased for our church so we can live stream services at this very challenging time.”
