“I have purchased from "Wilkinson" shops on numerous occasions before, however with the "Covid19 Lockdown" in place, l thought l would try their mail-order system. Hence l place an order for "A4 Permajet Test Papers & a Manfrotto QR plate. When the order arrived it was short of one pack of paper and the enclose pack was the wrong type. Immediately l rang Wilkinson's who immediately corrected matter as far as they could. Anyone can make a mistake, it's a case of how matters are corrected. “There are camera dealers, a few really good ones, and Wilkinson Cameras. I had ordered a couple of Olympus accessories (£360 worth) from a dealer in another part of the country who obviously didn't have the goods in stock, but even worse, didn't even communicate the fact. After nearly 4 weeks and 2 telephone calls which provoked no action whatsoever, I was forced to write and cancel the order. I then found Wilkinson Cameras (thank you Mr Google) who had one of the elusive items in stock. I ordered it midday and received it the next day together with a really friendly letter. On top of that, I emailed WC thanking them for their swift response and lovely accompanying letter, and was pleasantly surprised to get a thank-you email in return. My recommendation is if you want to buy any photographic item online, try Wilkinson Cameras first.”

“I ordered a popular item which many sellers are charging a premium on atm. Not only did Wilkinsons charge a discounted rate for the item, the P&P was free and it arrived the next day. My Auto FIll had made an error and they called me within the hour of my order to check my address. Excellent service, great prices and exemplary delivery time. I will definitely use them again for film/audio equipment. Highly recommended.”

Hi Janet, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I Just thought I'd explain the packaging to you so you don't think we are wasteful or inconsiderate of the environment. Whilst we try to minimise our packaging where possible and re-use or recycle all the packaging that comes into us, sometimes we need to bulk out parcels a little bit so they get to you safely. We can't send batteries with Royal Mail as they will not transport batteries on their own - they will destroy any they find in their system! So, we need to send them by courier. However, our experience tells us that sending small items, such as little jiffy bags by courier, leads to them being misplaced and therefore delayed/lost. So, we bulk them up into a full sized parcel to make sure it gets to you quickly and in one piece! Hopefully it didn't cause too much inconvenience and your local waste collection services allow you to recycle as much of the packaging as possible. One of our aims for 2020 is to further increase the percentage of recycled materials we use and ensure we are using recyclable packaging where possible. We'll definitely take your feedback on board to see whether we can reduce the packaging for batteries too. Thanks for shopping with us, Alex | Wilkinson Cameras

Hi Anthony, Hopefully you are enjoying using your new lens, it's a great choice - fantastic quality - and thanks for supporting an independent business. The M.Zuiko 2x Teleconverter, worth £379, included free of charge with your order (this offer was exclusive to only selected UK retailers, excluding Amazon) is currently out of stock with Olympus. But rest assured, your lens has been on order since May 27th. Having spoken to our Olympus account manager today, I'm afraid they do not expect them to arrive in the country until the week commencing June 15th. As soon as yours arrives it will be sent to you - you will receive dispatch information via the courier when it's on its way. Hopefully you will still enjoy using the lens in the meantime.
