“Your website is ok to use, however your chosen delivery courier is useless as they have had my parcel out for delivery the last 3 days and I am still waiting to receive it. And unable to track the package either. Although why bother to use the tracker as it does not work!”

“Giving 3 stars as didnt have a problem with Wigley and staff where polite but ordered a belt for a hoover delivery to northern ireland but received email the following day saying they could not post to Northern Ireland as postage costs were too expensive with their chosen courier. Order was cancelled and payment refunded. I believe they could have posted package too me for less than £2. Maybe they could look at pricing another courier or royal mail for deliveries to UK”

We would very much like to be able to ship to Northern Ireland in a cost effective way however, all the courier companies I have spoken to charge a hefty premium to send parcels there.
As you mentioned Royal Mail is an option, however we have to send everything on a tracked delivery which means taking parcels to the Post Office which has a cost implication especially if it's just for one or two parcels. They are cheap for small parcels but very expensive for medium to large ones which then complicates our dispatch process.
Royal Mail will also not send a large list of prohibitive items such as spray paint, and many others which are good sellers for us and this stops them being a viable option for the overwhelming majority of our consignments.

“Paid for Express delivery ... did not turn up I had to chase the order no impressed! Said they had tried to deliver... I was actually in ! No doorbell no neighbour's notified sorry product fabulous but feel ripped off for paying a delivery charge for next day delivery....that I did not get”
“Ronseal quick drying woodstain satin Teak 2.5L was delivered promptly and supplied at a competitive price. On opening the box w packaging, i found the tin had suffered a significant impact to the bottom seal causing creasing to the bottom and side of the tin so the base is now concave.
There was also a dent from a small impact to the top lid seal lip. No leakage i can see from creases or lid yet. There was no damage to the Box containing the product.”
“I have been delighted with my purchases from Wigley. They have shipped excellent quality items quickly. My only concern is that there is no postage option for delivery as being “remote” gives me an excess charge which makes smaller orders uneconomic. This is a shame as I will have regrettably have to seek further small orders elsewhere.”

Sorry you had to wait longer than expected for your parcel. Although couriers are never likely to be perfect we have generally been able to stick to our delivery estimates all through this difficult time.
We have put a message about the current delivery timings on our 'Delivery / Returns' page explaining there may be some delays which was available to read before you placed your order.

Just spoken to the web team who said they did try to phone to let you know the product was out of stock. They should have e-mailed as well, and tried again, however forgot as we have been so busy. We are really sorry, we understand that is not good enough.

“Item arrived with the lid popped off. Paint on the box and my hand. I am assuming this was the fault of the courier though. As the product was well padded and the lid had tape over it to secure it .”

As you mentioned we wrap paint deliveries up as best we can, but sometimes things happen during transit! I must say that despite the recent increase in paint sales this is the only one that has been damaged SO FAR.
